Well one cannot live without x-fi. You get better sound from mp3s than from the original studio sets. ;)

I'd like to be able to hear this in action.... I've been with my 7.1 setup in both my home theater and living room for quite some time now and would love to hear how this system stacks up. Never knew that Atmos has been around since 2012.

I think that people need to realize that sound in most things you do is going to be almost half if not more of the overall experience. I would be interested to read of a comparison of this system up against a full blown Atmos setup. I just want to experience this Atmos first hand...!

A lot of movie theaters have started to implement it. You can buy a/v receivers that support it now as well. Problem is most home receivers don't do more than 9.1. Atmos supports 32 channels, and the only receiver I've seen that supports 32 channels is $18,000, so to truly experience Atmos you would probably be better off finding a movie theater that is utilizing it. I watched Star Wars at my local theater that uses Atmos, it sounded good, but I couldn't tell you if it sounded any better than a theater without it

Looks like they're trying to tap the market of people who will buy that overpriced Sonos crap.

There is just no way these soundbars with tiny drivers can compete with a properly planned 5.1 setup.

And they arent the first ones to market such a thing. The Samsung HW-K950 Soundbar is the same kind of thing

I'm a bit sceptic about this.

    EDIT:
I dont think that K950 has drivers firing left and right ?

Had it been 1/2 price there'd be more people look at it, but, its outside what most people would spend on a single multi-speaker box.

    This thing is sonos crap.

I'll stick to my full set of yamaha 1073 + KEF q series and SVS sub thanks. No freaking way this thing could touch that. Tiny little bose style speakers in a tube lol.
