Multimonitor 144Hz / 60Hz stutter problem

I tried but i don't have any 120 or 144 hz resolution showed in the software :

add new detailed resolution (with 120Hz) and move it to the top with the arrow on the right side

then click on "default extension block" and disable it, save and restart

 

I tried, same issue :/

I bought an other 144hz to be honest, BUT here is the final message from NVIDIA support that they send to me, check it out :

Thanks for letting us know, in case you receive any more info from them (target version of the driver that will contain the fix) or anything like that, please do share the fantastic news

So what drivers are you all using now? Latest and old drivers have this problem too?

 

I've had this issue as well, well a similiar one

I have 2 monitors 1st monitor is extended to 2nd one

both are 144hz capable displays

however, I run both monitors at 120hz

I tried playing Diablo 3 on windowed boredless mode

and on the primary display, got severe stuttering and low FPS

but If I clicked off the primary display, and clicked the 2nd display, Diablo 3 (which was sitll running on the 1st monitor) became buttery smooth, instant increase in FPS back to the norm.

so yea.. I think this is a bug, atleast I hope it is.. heres hoping nVidia rectifies it.

 

I have an Apple Cinema as the secondary monitor and an Asus PG279Q as the primary. I had the same issues as you have described in this thread - my secondary monitor caused the primary to stutter and drop FPS in games; due to it being 60Hz and the primary 165Hz. I found a temporary solution from someone else on another forum that works fine:

Enable G-sync on the 144Hz monitor
Enable V-sync (no that's not a typo)

Enabling V-sync strangely seems to cure the problem instantly and has worked for me ever since I discovered it!
