    Right...
Because I'm not at home and Android tablet broke this morning and Guru3D site goes black and flashes and is unusable with Windows Phone (Lumia 635) I had to look for the answers elsewhere (not feeling like asking to use someone elses PC for this competition)... Anyways, email sent.

Am I the only WP user who is having problems with the main site ?

I am curious as to why we need to include our Name/Address/Phone Number in the initial email, not just the reply to the "You've Won" email.

This gives you the real name, address and phone number of every single person who enters, regardless of if they win or not. Now, I'm not saying you would be doing anything wrong with that information I just find it odd you're requiring it in the initial email.

It's the same question each year, the same answer as well. It speeds up administration/shipment of the (many) prizes and thus my time. We don't do anything with the info, the emails are deleted afterwards.

If you feel uncomfortable by it, then by all means do not enter the contest.

I guess they have nothing to do with my Russian Federation info which I provided in e-mail :stewpid: I am using guru3d.com since 2000 year or around it for downloading drivers and riva tuner for TNT 2 16Mb card and then MX440 vga. But never registered on these forums cause never have problems do discuss with people out there (used S3 trio 3D, RIVA TNT2 16Mb, MX440, gtx260, AMD HD5870, now sitting gtx580).

Finally found time to check it and compose mail. Drive is lovely thing HH, thanks a lot (for whoever wins).

Tho, I have point of interest, mentioned review is for 240/480GB versions. SKU of nand used is not written single time, but is shown on image. That is SKU of lower capacity chips used in 480GB version. 980GB version uses another chips as 480GB version is already fully soldered with NANDs (just misses additional cache). So 960GB version has to double chip capacity. Which means another SKU :)

My Vertex 4 128GB runs 13959 hours (581 full day run time) with 1651 system starts and is left with 95% of its life.
    - this drive includes in SMART data for writes in Blocks: 35306522056 blocks (I presume classical 512B blocks) so: 16835GB written
For my Vertex460A 240GB: 2806 hours (116 full day run time) with 356 Power Cycles and life remains at 98%.
    - this drive includes in SMART data amount: Write: 5967GB ; Read: 4556GB

    So funny things:
Vertex 4 is used as system drive and average write is 1.21GB per hour (I have swap here too)
Vertex460A is used for some games and projects and avg. write is 2.13GB per hour.
    - From this I conclude that having swap on drive is no problem at all as regular work puts more "stress" on drive than OS does.
    - And my personal fact, I write data in quick backup/build and then I do not need them :D
