Mortal Kombat X Koming To PC 2015

I wish this thing took advantage of SLI. It also seems capped at 60 FPS? I have framelimitting set to my refresh rate (100) with vertical sync off but it's stuck at 60 FPS and something like 50% GPU usage on one card.

I guess it's not super important, just some really quirky behavior. We won't even get into what happens when you try to force SLI compatibility.... less FPS than if I just run off one card.

 

Do you seriously need more than one 970 to run the game?

 

It has ****ty in-engine AA so yeah I wouldn't mind running it at higher DSR resolutions.

Four new fighters coming next year.
(Leatherface, Bo Rai Cho, Xenomorph and Tri-borg who's a mix of Cyrax, Smoke and Sector.)

 

They should also add Night wolf, Sindel and another classic all this randomness imo sucks a lot.

 

They probably aren't done yet but yeah I honestly wish they'd release more fighters at a bit faster pace. When I'm not interested in the new ones it's an awfully long wait till the next round of DLC.

 

Picked this up finally a few days back and enjoying it. I am an old skool MK fan (played MK1,2,3,UMK,Trilogy & M4 back in the day) and really enjoying the fact that they brought it back on the PC in the last 1 and now this.. plus a return to 2d!

i would also like to see some old familiar faces return like Motaro. He seemed to have really got the worse treatment in the recent releases with explanations like he wont fit in the new 2d fighting style (x-ray & all) but he was a fun boss in MKTrilogy.

Playing Evil Within these days and when the game gets too intense for me, its fun to go back to this and unlock a character ending (done with the story)

Performance wise, no hitches - runs great on my rig.

 

Ran at 60fps 100% of the time for me back when I played it, performance was never an issue. The servers being down more than they were up and all matches being super laggy was the reason I quit.

 

I have to give them props for not leaving the game at its original state, where you would need a top card just to get console performance out of it, it took them months but now is running as it should:

 

Does it still stutter during character selection and that post selection animation?

 

Did not see any stutter in my rig. However, the FPS drops when the char ending plays after you beat the tower and the credits that roll are also slow and laggy. No issues in gameplay though but I do not game online so cannot comment about that.

 

For me yeah, at least fights are stutter free now, even the xray moves and stuff (still capped to 30fps though).
