    Fan now works OK.

But, now, the clock sticks to 500/1500 until I restart the driver or the PC.

If it's not a "resolved issue" for GCN 1.1 it should be placed under "know issues"

There in no reference yet to the silently disabled crossfire profile for Fallout 4...2 drivers ago (15.11.1 beta) when Fallout 4 appeared under "Performance Optimizations".

It could be interesting to know what files they added (if any) and/or increased in size.

Maybe they rush the release so fast they forgot to compress the package this time.

Around 90 MB increase in a file of 224 MB seems excessive for a simple...hotfix.

Legacy cards are also supported, probably that's why.

Hopefully they fixed it crashing when deleting a profile too (in some occasions).

It's still a "to be fixed" thing. For some reason it's in resolved issues.

So far with the new Beta drivers everything seems fine. No issues yet. Ran a Valley benchmark and no real change in performance.

It is resolved for R9 390 series while R9 290 series problem is still in investigation for some reason lol.

Ya could be the same reason for the first 300 series drivers only.

    LOL

Is the same GCN 1.1 after all PR fog dissapeared.

Edit: I bet my hat that people with 290(X) bios modded as 390(X) have not that problem, i can't do it.

290X Lightning has Samsung memory, there is no 390X "donor" for them.

You could try flash a 390 BIOS to see if that fixes it, if it bothers you too much.

That increase comes from the fact that Beta drivers support all major Windows versions unlike WHQLs that are split among Win7/8.1 and Win10.
