I've had my two R9 270X's in my AMD machine going 24/7 for the past couple of months and I average around 160k ppd, with peaks at 220k ppd. This seems low to me and I have noticed my bonus is always less than predicted, usually about half. my spu doesn't runa client because I OC it. I am still waiting to upgrade MB with new cpu, because at the moment it is my bottleneck. I recently upgraded the ram allowing me to overclock the cpu from 3.2ghz to the 3.3ghz stable. I've seen a few people post that their 970GTX runs well over 200k per day on a single card, this looks nice and I may build another computer with an Intel/Nvidia. When I bought my R9 270's they were 149.99 and I see they are now going for 279.99, almost the same price as a 970gtx.

Am I the only one who is using NaCl?

The normal client won't work behind the firewall but I can run NaCl via Chrome :)

Seems rude not to as all the PCs in the lab are on all the time...

Update: Well winter is coming again and I can heat my apartment with my 750W computer cheaper than I can with the in-ceiling 2000w electric heat. This means I will be running my newly acquired 1080GTX on idle until next year. It says it can do 800k-1mil points if I ran it 24/7, at the moment I am averaging 600k as this is my gaming computer.

I like that we hear about more and more fah users from our team, than are folding with pascal gpu's that are a powerhouse. Maybe in the future I will add another 1070 if I have the money. Now I fold with my second 1070, because the first, after few days of foldind, died. :(

I don't know exactly, but I found in the morning, after I let the gpu to fold, a black screen and after restart, when entering windows again black screen, sometimes the cursor appeared and it was moving very slowly. I could get into safe mode and I coluld see windows to unistall driver and install it again, but after a clean installing, the same problem, I reinstaled the windows, no good, 270x was working very fine. After that they replaced it with a new one, that until now, it's ok.

    Bad work units.

I'm having an issue and need some assistance. I did not know it since my ppd stayed pretty high but I have been having bad work units on my gtx1080 client. I've included logs for the past week. Today was the worst with Bad work unit's. I recently installed the newest nvidia driver and I am going to reinstall the old one. I was wondering if others are having similar issues or if it is just my hardware.

Files in order of oldest to newest log 1 weeks worth.

I rolled back my drivers and was looking for answers on the forums and I think I found one. https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=29276

It sounds like the new Nvidia driver 375.57 is the problem, so I rolled back to 373.06. I've completed 3 corex18's in the past hour with no problems, we will have to see if I complete a corex21 before it is officially fixed.

I noticed that our top fah donors iancook221188 and PantherX have very low ppd compared to let's say a month ago. I hope everything it's ok... Maybe it's not easy to run Fah every day at maximum output. For me, it's not easy to fold continuously from an electrical bill point of view, but at least my 1070 for the ppd/w ratio it's ok I think. Sometimes I fold with the cpu too. For the summer months, I know that because of the heat, my ppd will drop very much, maybe I will fold just at night, or in the cooler days... I was thinking to get a 1060 3gb version along my 1070... but I don't know if my 750 w can handle a 3930K@ 4,2 ( 150W) 1070 and 1060 3GB... and the elecricall bill will be expensive too :bang:
