Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10586 Hi everyone, Today we are releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10586 to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. This build is really focused on bug fixes and general improvements. We’ve been loving this build in our internal rings as it is very fast and smooth, and makes a great daily driver. http://blogs.windows.com/windowsexp...ncing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-10586/ ESDs Code: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/2xE4/5k5wdRDSu Decryptor Code: https://t.co/q6mKkTp1uD ALL Direct Link's ESD TH2 RTM 10586.0.TH2_RELEASE.151029-1700 Code: http://pastebin.com/cGV3vcnX
literally just checked my windows update and it showed and i came here to see if there is any info guess im a bit too quick but its installing any way
For those getting it early... Can you guys do some RAM benchmarks please (or benchmarks that are impacted with regards to RAM speed/management), before and after upgrading. Especially those going from 10240 build to 10586.
Good stuff, didn't even notice this was showing until i saw this thread. The store fixes are welcome and i glad they sorted the below as it was actually starting to annoy me.
Any word on when they will update the default 10240 build for us regular non-insider users or how does this work?
booted into windows 10 and got the message. "AN UPDATE IS REQUIRED TO UPDATE" :wanker: and it drives me nuts when people says daily driver for the operation system..
I couldnt get the latest nvidia drivers to install through the installer. it kept failing. it would remove everything but then failed at installing the drivers. I had to manually install them through device manager. and everything is working fine.
i had a little issue after the upgrade from 10576 where my USB mouse would not work/respond until i unplugged it and put it back in other than that all is fine and dandy i just need to test silverlight using the sky go app because it randomly froze the PC on 10576
also under system information doesn't say preview build anymore, Just windows 10 Pro. very smooth update, everything working as it should.
What do you mean? Did you have issues with them before? Or do you mean general latency and responsiveness improvements?
maybe there iso on msdn will be update before i get rest pc parts so i dont have to do this win7 upgrade>Win10>fresh install
This may not be the final TH2 release, it is speculatively the final TH2 release. If it all appears good it is likely to be essentially what the public get, however there may be release day updates for it. Other issues such as upgrade bugs etc could mean pre-upgrade updates, or that a new build is pushed. The real question is how soon after TH2 goes public that the first Redstone builds will be available to insiders? Redstone is a much more substantial (supposedly) update than what TH2 is. Of course, that may mean many more bugs for insiders to report as well .
