They dont need more cash in the same fiscal year where Battlefront is released. Remember, they are sure to have over 10 million sales of BF right? EA logic. They just want to spread the winnings over a certain time period to keep the stock owners happy.
I'd rather they delay than toss out an Arkham Knight at people. Far too many publishers ride on pre-orders these days.
As much as I love Mirrors Edge, I still won't be getting this at release. I have very little faith in DICE when it comes to single player. I still feel that the first Mirrors Edge was a fluke. Something I have doubts they'll be able to replicate. Either way, Deus Ex, Doom, Shadow Warrior 2... and I'll probably still be playing Fallout 4. Mirrors Edge 2 can wait.
What's everyone up in arms about? Everything gets delayed these days. When you see a release date, add exactly one year to that and be pleasantly surprised if it makes it out by then. I'm not sure why companies even give "exact" release dates anymore.
I started to love dice because it gave us mirrors edge one of most original maybe the most original game in fps genre along with portal 1 and 2. I love mirrors edge bright looking sky the colorful city. Its just greatly designed that i always like to run it and look at the city. Dice knows very well how to offer graphics and then they gave us bf3 and bf4 which i like a lot because of the shooting mechanics weapon sounds and level of detail offered by the frostbite engine.
