Cheers Veteran will do  I did my first 3 tutorials last night np, but ran out of time as i had to be up very early this morning , hope to continue this evening with more advanced stuff
It is a long way off, but it's easy enough to do with a Sidey or Hauler if you upgrade the jump drive and add a fuel scoop and/or additional fuel tanks if you don't plan to stop off to buy fuel on the way. *Edit* You'll probably be wanting to balance jump range and cargo capacity plus add a fuel scoop once you get there anyway, the trade run from Lave/Uszaa to Fujin is a good 120LY each way.

I am too much of a casual games player to go and spend a lot of money on a joystick so this does look fantastic for the amount of time that I will be using it and what I will be using it with.
I just bought one of these guys and it is a brilliant stick and throttle but I don't seem to be able to move forwards I think when I throttle forwards. Any ideas? I'm still new to this game.
Make sure everything is mapped properly in the settings, I think there's actually a pre-set for that particular setup in ED but I'm not sure if it defaults to it automatically. I bought a couple of those sticks awhile back, and both myself and the recipient of the second have had great experiences.
does anybody remember BattleZone game? would be cool if they borrowed their ship design for their SRVs
I picked the preset but for some reason pushing forward does not seem to do that. Will have another play around now. Edit. When I push throttle all the way forward the ship stops 0 speed and blue line disappears. If I have the throttle in the middle it shows speed 70 and blue line goes to centre of blue indicator. If I pull throttle all the way back speed goes to 96 and blue line goes orange and is 3 quarter way down the bad. I have no idea why or what to do. I have picked the preset for my new stick and have changed nothing.
Take a look at this: https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/33jqwa/how_to_properly_calibrate_a_joystick/ A few people have had issues with non-calibrated flight sticks and throttles, hopefully this will solve your problem.
Go to the control settings of the game and go to the part where you change Throttle, hit it and move the throttle, it should then be assigned. Try to look into this yourself you should be able to fix it, if it's not a calibration issue which I don't think it is really.
Only just got back home to do a search. I was just curious if anyone had run into this and what might fix it. I did a quick search earlier and found the same page that Darkest found. Will be going through that now... Thanks Darkest for the link.
