Just wanted to let everyone know these drivers fix every issue that the previous ones were having and i dont even own a G-sync monitor. getting solid scores in unigine valley and 3dmark11 and all games seem to be back to their normal performance range. I am so happy right now. its about time Nvidia fix these issues. My specs are below my name on the left.

Well, the WHQL cut my FPS in half when Gsync was enabled. Happy to report that the hotfix drivers indeed fix that. Happy so far.

This driver really smoothed out the Witcher 3 for me. Very happy with them so far.

I have experienced this issue since upgrading from 353.30. When loading games, after a few seconds, the fps just tanks to 1-2 fps. I found enabling v-sync in the Nvidia control panel stops this.

    Back when I was using 353.30, I could use g-sync with v-sync disabled. Now I can't.

there is a problem with bad company with all latest driver, i opened a new thread regarding that issue.

all new drivers cause huge gpu overload and fps drop during gameplay and even in main menu.

also in pro evolution soccer 6, when you put max settings in nvcp with 16xaa and 8x supersample, gpu oveload starts, something i've never had a several months ago with old drivers.

from my perspective, new drivers are good only for new games, but i play mostly older games (like bc2, bf3, fifa 15, pes 6, nba 2k14, etc...)so i don't like what nvidia is doing, instead of keeeping great performance for old games along with new games, they decide to focus just on new games. maybe they should quit "game ready" drivers and release some normal "all games ready" drivers in some in between periods.

They need to change rendering pipeline according to new games/engines AND their own GPUs.

Man, it's called evolution, you can't make the "perfect" driver for every game since '90 (and believe man, I'm sad about that me too).

Could be because GSync is working correctly on GSync monitors, for example.

If it's sarcasm,ok,good one, if not then..you combine a variable refresh rate method with image quality which is..I don't even have words to describe it respecting forum's rules.

The most likely answer is placebo. It happens in just about every driver thread.

You don't think sync issues can impact image quality? Just think of tearing and possibly other artifacts that stem from syncing to the refresh rate that can make the image look worse. I don't have a Gsync monitor myself, but I can imagine that broken Gsync that was fixed with this driver could very well caused image quality issues with previous drivers and thus this driver might potentially cause such configurations to have better image quality. I'm not saying that this is definitely the cause of the poster to see image quality improvements with this driver (it could, of course, be the poster's imagination), but it's a speculative theory on what could be causing it based on the documented changes in the driver.
