Shame you gotta be a founder to run the benchmark, would love to see what 1 or 2 980ti at 1500 would net.

Is not it better to say that NVidia has one card that matched the AMD card in the same price range? :)

Oh, nvidia improved little bit? Well then, its time they downgrade performance with next driver. :D

Not only that, where are 1440p and 4k benchmarks? Didn't fit the headline either?:3eyes:

Are you guys really giving importance to a difference of 0.4 and 0.9fps?

Here's a gun. Remember, the safe end is the one with the hole at the end of it.

Hardly worth a mention, but nice to know performance increases can still be achieved via drivers.

I can only imagine things will work improve even further when it hits early access.

Yeah I pretty much agree with this. It's nice that Nvidia improved performance a bit but it's barely better (well within margin of error) and it's at 1080p. And honestly it's basically a synthetic benchmark at this point. Meh.

Are you really delighted by what recently shows worth $ 15B NVidia, compared to the worth $ 1,5B AMD?

And without MSAA (on Epica). as Nvidia stated it was buggy right now with their gpu's.. And sadly we will need a bit more benchmarks anyway.

This said, it is nice too see that they have gain some performance.

    wat.

Nvidia is only worth ~$7B and AMD is worth ~$3B in terms of total assets. But more importantly Nvidia's revenue is actually the same as AMD's, roughly ~$1B a quarter. So that argument is moot anyway.

I replicated the benchmark that is referred to as EPIC in that bench, the real name in settings is Crazy. Turned off MSAA and gave it a run.

I assume the results are regarding the Average FPS from all Batches, shown at top.
GPU was pegged at 100%, CPU not so much..
    My results,
    CPU @ 4.6 , Mem @ 3.2, GPU @ 1500/8000 ... 358.50 Drivers.

Then I ran at Medium preset to compare.

Media attached itself to the Async compute hype train which didn't help the situation. Instead of waiting for more drivers, games, people were told to have an opinion about it without much to back it up with.
I'd like to see the test done at UHD resolution.
