WCCFtech Steals and Plagiarizes Star Wars article from Guru3D.com

Haven't they done this sort of thing before?

There's no excuse for what they're doing, if they want to show Guru3d's data they should simply post a news update that links directly to this website.

theyve never heard the term 'professionalism' have they? how about 'journalistic integrity'? cant expect too much from these folks

They're insinuating to users in the comments section that you're fine with what they're doing. Which is of course not true, pretty messed up. They're making an already bad reputation worse, it's a shame there wasn't more we could do to shut this sort of thing down.

 

Shame they didn't hotlink the images, could have switched them to pr0n

 

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Yeah, they've done it before but taking content from guru3d and masquerading as its your own isn't so flattering.

But many people use guru3d as resource for answers and optimization so it's no big deal.

As the slang goes " it's your DJ favorite DJ"

I responded on the forum and stated (politely) that them taking HH's content lacked professionalism, and that they were using without his permission after he had requested they remove it. Mostly in hope that some of the less informed users would stop using the site. Unlikely to have an impact, but you never know.

...They're now stopping me from responding to posts by forcing moderation approval. Not sure if it's just me or everyone, I suspect there was more than one complaint.
