Nvidia 356.04 developer driver

i have max 500 in the test,what should be?but the program latencymon says i have no problem in handling bla bla bla

 

well best would be something below 100.. if i don't use any programm that requires the gpu (which means if i'm just idling on the desktop without doing anything and without started programms) i've 25-50 which is pretty amazing but the nvidia driver has massive spikes..

i tested it out further and everything that requires the gpu to work spikes the latency from time to time.. i even got spikes to 6.000 !! which is ofc ridiculous. though i didn't feel any difference in games or whilst doing anything else.. listening to music or watching a movie.. everything was perfectly smooth even if i got spikes to 5000-6000.

something is definitely messed up with this driver but as long as its unnoticable whilst playing games i actually don't care that much ^^

oh btw normaly i think most ppl have dpc latency at around 50-200 nanoseconds.. thats the normal range. when i listen to music and use programms like steam on my pc my latency is at around 80-140 at max. (excluding the driver issues now ofc)

edit: does anyone know if nvidia will release a heroes of might and magic 7 driver ? its due to be released in 2 days.. its based on the unreal 3 engine which in itself is horrible because the engine is so sensible and loves to create problems.

really hope nvidia will release an optimized driver for homm7 can't wait for the game, the beta was superb gameplaywise (though abysmal in terms of technical quality lol).

Memory is locked to 1501Mhz with these, with no way to overclock it

Can overclock GPU fine, but not ram

 

Maybe Maxwell bug, i can oc both fine..

False alarm (I think) I'll have to reinstall to test again.

Upside is back to old drivers, Stick of Truth works again and not a flickering mess.

 

Did a clean install of this driver and will take it out for a spin. The only weird thing is that I cannot open NVCPL from the system tray (nothing happens when I right click the icon). No biggie since it can be opened from the desktop but still.

That's pretty low even for DayZ, i haven't played it in a while but i did play it on Windows 10.

Is this in a city or outside the city? i usually get 50-60fps outside the city and 20-30 in the city.

 

Is this better than the previous whql?

RIFT crashes by game start? Every time I try to launch it crashes.


Last time I played it I was still @win8.1 and some said it might be due to driver.. Can anyone confirm?

 

btw the driver works great with heroes of might and magic 7 !! tested it out today after release and it works buttersmooth and flawless

 

Had my first TDR with these last night after about 45 minutes of Mad Max and, of course, it was right in the middle of a long mission.

Fired the game back up and played for another couple of hours with no TDRs, so I'm gonna stick with these unless I start getting them again.

 

rift has preferences on drivers:with some it doesn't even start..absurd!
But each config is different, might work or not

 

No problems here running Rift with these drives on Windows 10 (64bit).

hmm strange,
I got a huge 5-6GB update since I played last time, maybe it messed up something.. I also verified game integrity, but it didn't help.

Can you please copy paste your config file, want to see if they changed some parameters.. Thanks.
