I downloaded the fixed version of the 355.84 developer driver but have not yet installed it as I have the official 355.82 ones installed for MGSV: TPP and Mad Max. How do these beta drivers work with those games? Better? Worse?

Did you get to try TPP yet? I will be starting the game in a day or so and would like to know if these have the fixes for it.

Hmm anyone else seeing dx11 multithreaded performance suffer with any of the none-00-branch drivers? Always getting a lower multithreaded score with any 355.8*-driver than isn't from the main branch (guessing threaded optimizations might be disabled or not working. :3eyes:).

    Thx for the driver,

I tried the .82 WHQL and it gave me problems again and no problems with this dev driver.

    Nvidia please :S

I tried the .83 dev as well no problems as well as .83 dev

Krzyslaw helped me at the .83 driver thread already. I got problems with the .82 WHQL and the .80 Hotfix, having BSOD and very high DCP Lag

But i got no problems with this driver so... thank you

would it be worth updating from 355.82 if you dont have vr or is it literally just vr fixes i mean i read back and some people say "better" performance in games. but is it worth it

Drivers are all different pretty much just test them out yourself. I still think 353.17 is by far the best multiplayer gaming driver but it probably doesnt have every new game profile in it for sli. Still this forum likes to run 3DMark and Witcher 3 or whatever the latest high graphics game is to test drivers which I think is a poor test and results in approval of sluggish drivers. The benchmark should be overall performance not patches and functionality(identifying patches is easier for forum authorities to validate as perception would be deemed subjective and therefore irrelevant when I'm sure the opposite is true) that way nvidia gets feedback that indicates branches where they did things right then they can isolate that performance and add the patches later...... One would think as drivers evolved they would always get faster but often new releases are not faster but then after 6 or 7 releases the fastest one of all comes along. Its very odd that performance doesnt increase with every driver as things that work are kept and those that dont are shed.

    Corrupt file issue's

If he used a generic program to pack it, like 7file or whatever, then winrar is gonna have issue's unpacking it properly, it will say it unpacked it, but when ya go to launch the program or driver or whatever it is, it will say file is corrupt!!! the only fix ive found for this is downloading the 7file and using it to unpack it!!!
