Sometimes on a cold boot, I will get a 'no signal' till the actual windows login screen, After that not a single issue during long gaming sessions or anything.

Just finding it a bit strange, can't pinpoint what it could be.

System specs on side, feels like it could be a PSU issue, but it is pretty much brand new and readings seem fine on HWmonitor 100% load.

Just wondering if anyone else had this issue.

That's real funny because i get a black screen after the windows logo on a cold boot.
If i then press the restart button my windows boots fine, but a cold boot always goes
to a black screen saying nothing(and the monitor acts like its working). Happens right on the welcome screen i don't even see
it. This happened right after updating to windows 10.

I've been reading about issue like yours but slightly different to mine can't seem to find anything along same issue as mine bar a laptop doing it.

Strange thing is it's not every cold boot but most lol.

Granted its not a major issue yet as comp only takes 10 or so seconds to get to login screen

    @Joe
You've just described my issue to a tee...
I have those exact symptoms with a Gigabyte GV-N970WF3OC-4GD.
I don't have a 'major' problem, other than I cannot enter the BIOS.
It powers on and I never see anything until Windows Splash...'no delete to enter setup etc'....
It runs great once booted. Never had a BSOD.

Well I'm not the only one at least, If I cannot get into bios first time a reboot from Windows brings up my msi splash screen.

I actually thought it could be an hdmi issue as it started happening when I switch to hdmi from dvi but when I tried dvi it was doing it again not as often tho which is another strange thing, I might give dvi another go

What is your monitor by the way?

Mine is an LG W2261VP 22"

    I have an Acer S236HLtmjj.
    It's not monitor related though.
My GTX670 worked fine for three years.
I took that card out to install the current GTX970.
The system would power on but not boot to Windows the first time around...no display (dark screen).
Seems the monitor could not find a valid input signal, as it kept 'flipping' through VGA, HDMI1, etc....
I initially thought something was wrong with the videocard.
After walking away for about four minutes to do something unrelated, I came back to find Windows up and running.
Boot time gradually got to be shorter at each startup.
