Win10 store error "We can't find the app. 0x80070002"

    Anyone else getting these? No problems accessing the store, no problems updating apps. The issue is downloading NEW apps. It downloads, then begins to install and right when the app is at 99% complete installing it fails with this code:

    "Well, this is embarrassing (see details)."

    Clicking on details shows this message: "We can't find the app. error code 0x80070002"

    Clicking retry results in the same thing. Rebooting doesn't help. Resetting the Windows Store doesn't help. So far the only workaround has been switching to a local account to install an app then switching back.

    Anyone encounter this? And if so, have you found a complete fix?

    windows firewall disabled? if it disabled store apps wont install or update

    I manual start windows firewall when there update to the very few apps i use

    It's enabled by default and I haven't disabled the firewall. Seems to make no difference.

    Dont know i find it all rather buggy. It should of never been made part of the OS on PC side of things

    My Bing weather live tiles is constantly going blank

    0x8007 prefix means that this COM error is actually a Win32 error wrapped as an COM error code (HRESULT), so this is the COM equivalent of the Win32 error:
    I suspect that Event viewer contains detailed description of such failed new apps.
