Today new driver 353.54 from Windows 10 update. Geforce 353.54 WHQL (r352_00-220) and nvcuda 7.5.14
DriverVer = 07/13/2015, 10.18.13.5354

 

Not seeing it

Forced drivers when we don't want them, nothing there when we do lol

No surprises after a few quick benchmarks, which is probably not a bad thing. Must be the driver that would come with RTM/final version.

All my messing about to stop WU installing drivers must have worked, nothing showing this end

If this is WHQL, why can't nv also release it normally in addition to WU? We're a week away from launch anyway.

 

I have just installed but not tried them yet. What i don't understand is why are they only available through WU. Have Nvidia made a pact with MS.

 

I still dont get any newer drivers on WY then 353.30.
Can anyone upload them some how ?

Windows should save drivers here: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\download
If you guys have windows 10 x64, could you have a look if the new drivers are there (the ones who got the new driver that is)

 

Check on update.microsoft.com (I can't even see update list because Edge apparently doesn't qualify as IE)

EDIT - First time ever, it works on Win 10, but no new driver for the 980

 

I presume this mainly fixes the cursor issue that plagued the previous drivers (353.50), that were also pushed through the windows 10 update?

 

Hmm, the date on the 353.30 drivers on geforce are June 22nd, Today is July 22nd

Is this a trick to get people to install Geforce Experience?

 

Yeah, it automatically installs the 3D drivers and NVIDIA update, which you can then manually uninstall from Control Panel.

It looks like Windows Update actually uninstalled my NVIDIA Control Panel, so I had to reinstall it from C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\Install.

Also, dxdiag shows DirectX version 11.2. I think 353.49 or 353.30 showed DirectX 12.
EDIT: After performing an install again manually, with the 'clean install' option checked, it now shows DirectX 12.

 

Still showing DX12 this end with these new drivers
