    Maybe it is because I am using an upgrade from Win8.1 but I found the default Start menu a bit frustrating. For one, not all of my installed programs show up in All Apps and, secondly, Cortana, which I presume is meant as a Search replacement rarely finds anything I type in, instead going straight to a Bing webpage!

    I ended up using Stardock's Start8, which strangely still works on Win10 but have now switched to the beta version of Start10, which allows me to toggle between both the default and Stardock menu by pressing the Windows key. All my pinned Start programs and All Programs shortcuts are accessible from there, as well as Run and Search. I also have access to Admin Services and the Control Panel as a menu, which I find very convenient.

    The Win10 Start menu is a big improvement for sure but it still is not quite perfect for my needs.

    I don't see the point of the Win 10 start menu at all

    They might as well have left the Win 8 start screen

    If you're gonna have a menu, make it functional - any old shortcut can launch a program or a folder, lol even a shortcut has right click context menus worth a damn

    The XAML menu thinks pin, unpin are worthy of right click

    Yea exactly lol

    Enough people made their voices heard to bring back the menu, MS trolled us big time with this thing

    Agreed, the lack of right mouse context menu options such as Rename or even the ability to move things makes the Win10 Start menu very restrictive but then I could say the same about the bizarre apps which have simplified options and features compared with the proper desktop programs. At least I never have to look at the Start screen ever again so that is a big improvement over Win8/8.1.

    Im just pleased SiB works (Or any other 3rd party useful menu)

    But the rest of the XAML porting is pushing me back to 8.1

    Win32 is Windows for Desktops
    XAML is pointless and useless, the only pro I see with it, is it's BIG, for touch

    But my mouse cursor is small...

    It was the image sent to OEMs

    OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturers

    So, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, ASUS etc etc

    For pre-load on their Win 10 machines
