I don't bother with Prime. I just pick the free shipping options for everything. Most stuff shows up in 3-5 days regardless of what option I choose anyways, even if I pay for "2-day" shipping.

As to the sale, can't say I'm surprised it was underwhelming (I didn't bother looking, I buy too much crap already). Amazon never seems to have crazy deals. I find better deals elsewhere on a regular basis. Amazon is more like Wal-Mart with "everyday low prices" but no great sales. (on a side note, I stopped shopping at Wal-Mart years ago)

Amazon is turning into steam, as far as sales go.

Lots of crap stuff on sale, sucked. Non-US Amazon sites had better stuff, but still mostly disappointing, especially after they hyped it up so much. Glad I only got the trial membership, haven't paid for Prime since my university years when they had a great deal going for students. This "sale" makes me certain that I won't pay for Prime again.

So Amazon's black Friday starts next week.
I never looked for sales on there, but I'm on the lookout for a laptop that can handle some games like world of warcraft.

300 euro is not much ofc, but then again you can get a decent laptop for that if used.
Do you guys think on black Friday they have high discounts on laptops?

    The one i'm almost buying has a i7 4810, 16gb ram, nvidia k3100m 4gb gddr5.
It can be upgraded to a gtx 980m, so that's not bad.

But the vega 10/11 beats a k3100m, so I was hoping black Friday would have a laptop with a vega igpu on sale.

It's not Amazon related, buy I just made a good deal on www.otto.de where I bought 2x Seagate ST4000DM004 for 79Euros per piece.
Code 82105 gets you an additional 15 Euros off as a new client. That would be about 70 Euros incl. shipping for 4TB of space or about 150 bucks for 2 drives.

    Germany only.

amazon.de offers ESET Multi-Device-Security 2020 as retail box for 19,19 Euros (1 year, 5 devices!):
    https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07W6CFMZJ/

ESET M-D-S is basically a universal license allowing you to install ESET on any device (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android) in any edition (antivirus or av+firewall).

For this price I just bought 2. Takes 1 - 2 months to ship, but my current license is just renewed, so plenty of time. :)

Personally I can recommend ESET, used it for decades.

EDIT: The usual price for this license level would be about 35 to 50 Euros, so 19,19 Euros is a very good deal.
