Pardon my random trolling, but I don't understand everyone's beef with Fallout 4's visuals. They look on par with everything else out these days. The only difference is they aren't Watch Dog, Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knighting us with bullshots.

@Singleton99 @Rich_Guy Awesome monitor, great colors, fast and 144hz are sooo smooooooth

Now I need a new rig to push 1440p in current/coming games. Lets hope Fury (X) is worth it and Skylake brings some punch. August could be a nice month to burn some money

Yeah its a cracking screen, and FreeSyncs great, surprised how well my 290X handles 1440p, just need my FX now. :D

I'm stuck going for a Fury X, I didn't know Asus were to release a new IPS monitor that was Gsync. Ended up buying the MG279Q FreeSync, 144Hz IPS panel. Running it at full resolution using a 6950, can only play older games such as BFBC2 maxed out with decent FPS.

Plus side is that it looks awesome without the weird little red light ring. Downside is the FX under performs against the 980Ti, hopefully the review is correct in saying it performs better at 4K. I ain't the biggest fan of Panasonic TV's but oh well....

Should an active adapter come out that converts DP>HDMI for 4K @60hz I would be much happier, looks like that's going to be a while.

Got my card Friday and managed to test 3 games before i left on holiday. First was Witcher 3: 1080p all maxed out, no hbao+ and hairworks 70-80 fps, with hbao+ and hairworks 37+fps pretty huge frame drop if you ask me, it's clear how crap the two are coded. FarCry 4 1080p 4xMSAA, utra settings, hbao+ and hairworks, 70+ fps, running like a champ. Third game GTA 5, 1080p, every setting max, MSAA max, 47+ fps.

I will test in 2k and 4k when i get home at the end of next week. But first impressions are awesome, card is supper cool 50-60 C load after 2 hours of gaming and silent.

AMD has always had severe driver issues......I don't know why anyone would spend 700$ on a gpu that already has noise issues, will not overclock EVER....it doesn't even compete with Nvidia's 980Ti.....such a joke!!
I don't know if you heard, but the week after the FuryX card launched, AMD's stock took a 16% hit, if AMD fails to pay back the 600 million dollar note that's due in 2019 they're done! BANKRUPTCY is just a few steps away for AMD!!

Please troll somewhere else. This thread is for owners or people interested in getting a Fury card.

If you have nothing significant to contribute please stay out of this thread.

We all have a choice on what we want to buy.

    Back on topic*

Hopefully i'll have my Fury by the end of the week. Shipment should be cleared by customs tomorrow.

Finally did the rest of my rig to fit the Fury X since I got it.(Thanks Micro Center!)

And I must say, wow. I was shocked when I got my 970, but I am ecstatic about the performance I've seen with the Fury X! I didn't get to play with it a whole lot, and right now I lack a 4k monitor to test it out properly, but in a couple weeks I will!

I had a few issues with the 15.7 drivers, mostly ARK survival blackscreening(and other unreal engine titles like UT3 yes people still play it)
so I ditched back to the 20th june model and all seems well.
