I've been playing WoT on all them drivers getting 50-60% gpu usage so the performance is subpar on the card WoWS works way better... 9.9 patch should be bringing some enhancements to the table so I am hoping they are actually doing something good with the engine.

Afterburner and CCC show driver version 1128 but the device manager shows 1123.10 (used DDU to clean and install fresh).

    Win 8.1, 290X

Your 390 is showed as a 290 because 390 is a rebadged 290 and nobody at AMD driver team lost a second masking it in driver 1023.7.

If you didn't know it by now compare the "new" 390 in this chipset table:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_Radeon_Rx_300_series#Chipset_table

With the "old" 290 in this chipset table:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_Radeon_Rx_200_series#Chipset_table

They put more effort in "series 300" driver (15.15.1004) to show the 390(X) as "new" GPUs.

    Use Afterburner and disable powerplay.

    Ups!

Did you have DX12 results in W10 with the unmoded 1023.10?

Here you can see my results:
    1st launch driver for 8.1, no DX12.
    2nd 15.200.1040.0 Tonga code path.
    3rd 15.200.1040.0 Tahiti code path.
4th 15.200.1023.10 Fiji code path. (quite best in everything. On DX11 just a little bit)
    5th 15.200.1046.0 (15.7 WHQL)
Time to retest stuff in my Benching post.

    Thanks for the results!

Finally this driver branch is better performing than 1040 one!

    W10 RTM is near...

The most interesting thing to me are the per-frame draw call numbers, and how consistent they are. It would be very helpful if those numbers were included every time draw call numbers were compared, because of the fps variation (the test attempts to maintain 30 fps by regulating the number of objects drawn on screen)

How can you choose between codepaths?

That's awesome! Thanks dude! I'll upload the DLL ASAP.

I just got this, my FPS in CSGO seems a heck of a lot more stable (might just be placebo though). Still no AMD APP support, which is a shame since Win10 is getting nearer to release.
