    i saw several benchmark. Even a Core i7-5960X 3.0GHZ with a Titan X 12GB
cant get better than 48 FPS average in this game at 1080p at Ultra EVEN with AA Disabled. ( within race with Rain, better FPS when Clear) The 980 GTX i will buy get 46 fps average only 2 fps less only.

    Man im depressed !!

I was hoping playing this game in 1080p at ultra with MSAA 4X with 60FPS !!
    Oh my god !!

    I have 3 questions Guru Memeber !!

    1. Why this game cant get higher FPS ? wheres the bottleneck ?

    2. What does it need to run in 1080p at ultra with MSAA 4X with 60FPS Average Stable, with a minimum of 60 FPS all time ? is it possible with SLI ?
Maybe i should get a SLI board to buy a second 980 gtx in future ?

    3. Which games are worst in performance than Project Cars ? with same setting: 1080p ultra 4x msaa ?? Even witcher3 seem to run higher than that with nvidia hairwork disabled!

    Thanks for answers guys ??

Set the Reflections and Environment Map performance setting to "High" - that should gain 20-25% performance.

The Ultra settings for these two options increase fill-rate requirements and the amount of draw calls significantly :

    Ultra reflections render a 1024 x 1024 cube-map (6144x1024 !!), against 3072x512 for the High settings.
Ultra Environment Map adds a separate cube-map where the main player's car can receive opponent car reflections (on the bodywork) which is expensive in terms of extra API/draw calls.

I have no issues running this pretty much maxed out at 1440p @60fps+. OP, you're doing something wrong.

I don't remember my settings but I also remember having issues to get a consistent 60fps @ 1440p. I think it depends on the number of AI cars.

Yep, both on Ultra. I don't run any AA because it doesn't look good in pCARS. Here is me against AI with my settings, 1440p, everything is maxed only there's no AA. As you see, 60fps easy, apart from the start obviously it drops to the 50s.

I've got it maxed out at 1080p too and I'm using the Rift, perfect 75 fps. Version 2.0 just came out yesterday which gives perf gains and track optimisations among lots of other stuff.

    Answer for the topic title:

It's the Beta for pCARS2 wait till that game comes out and maybe it will play nice with hardware.
