my APC decided to reboot my computer a bunch of times, and corrupted the settings file.

i cant seem to find it to restore a prior version.

Quick tip - set up your radeonPro like you want it, back up the settings via radeonPro's own backup/restore function. Or go to the path %appdata%\RadeonPro (type it into your windows explorer path bar), select all the files in the folder and create a new zip archive called "backup" or something.

Oooor a super long-to-setup way but pretty handy for every kind of programm setting:

I suggest you start using Windows' "Shadow Copy Service" to back up your Documents etc. onto a different hard drive. Right click onto C:\Users\yourUsername and do "add to a new library". This will make sure that your user data gets saved as well. If you have dropbox/google drive folders, make sure to exclude them from the copy service.

This is how I restored my RadeonPro settings a few times when they were corrupted and I did not have proper backups.

yeah, i found it a couple minutes after i posted it.

    Forgot to comeback and edit.

no need to back anything up, just restored a previous version of the folder.

what a great and masterful tool this still is..

after a few years i found out now what was and is the big performance/stutter issue with the game virtua tennis 2009 (aka bad port)

tried all sort of things and then the last that came to mind was to try out the framerate control (DFC)

so i first did the profile and then enabled the OSD, it revealed that triple buffering is enabled by the game but no vsync (which i thought must be active because of stable 60 fps at all times even when stutter) and i had no clear visual proof of tearing because it is hard to see in this game

OK so i enabled vsync then (which most probably amd driver would have failed to do)

and now it comes, a close look at the frame time counter showed dips from around 16.72 to 16.4 and below matched the stutters timewise
(stutters that are well known in forums pc version, never was figured out)

and radeonPro makes them go away fast, 1-2 sec and its back to smooth
normally its totally random, appears goes away, stays for whole match...:3eyes:

    WOW
    guys
    wow.

    :infinity:

    edit
turned on catalyst ai, disabled ingame aa (which doesnt seem to work), disabled two cpu cores and now radeonpro shows enabled vsync too with triple buff and now game runs smooth whole match, very weird

Does RadeonPro work with Windows 10? Haven't seen mention of it in last few pages.

Hi guys, it is possible to remove fps cap from Toukiden Kiwami (PC port) using radeonpro and CCC? I already tried so many configuration but still no luck and now im stuck with 20fps when on mission and 8fps when on town, it really sucks to play with that fps.

what do you mean by cap?

sounds like you have vsync on and its tanking.

turn on triple buffering, that should stop your frame rates from halving every time you drop below sync.

You can either run in windowed mode which will force OS level TB, or turn on TB in RP and run full screen.

its capped, so we just get 30 for max fps because the fps is capped at 30. Its the main problem for this game, many people try to fix this but I still not found anyone who success. Tried that but still no luck

I wonder if that prevents him from legally working on this. If not a kickstarter might be a good idea ;)
