So new driver just showed up will install when a direct link shows up below

    dIRECT LINK http://mega.nz/#!RthxySZL!TfgCXbBBp-AXBou0S-Ax6X9BlJbwoAYPBMDmIG7grgk

These drivers are in ALPHA not beta remember that they are being worked on until RTM is released. they are meant to be built for DX12 performance working out all the issues before full launch so yes they will have issues but as long as you report the issues they might be fixed.

VBS, please do your thing for us... Honey bring the VBS horn... "Ahhooooooooo ahooooooo", I have summoned thee. We shall await the arrival of the modded drivers, for they transform darkness into light, and drawcalls into more drawcalls.

Hey guys... long-time lurker, first time poster.

These are the first drivers that I've seen that natively support Crossfire under Windows 10. AMD must've rushed these out after Microsoft singled them out as the reason why Build 10122 was being delayed.

Anyway, here are the results on W10 Build 10074 with Catalyst 15.4 BETA versus W10 Build 10122 with Catalyst 15.200.1023.3. For some reason, DX11 performance took a major dump in W10 Build 10122--I was unable to break 1.15 million draw calls in either DX11 mode in Catalyst 15.4, 15.5, and the VSB 1023 build. So don't be too concerned with the fact that Catalyst 15.200.1023.3 performance is roughly equal. I've got more on that in a sec. For now, check out how DX12 performance increased by almost 9.5% (bigger numbers are in bold):

    W10 Build 10074 + AMD Catalyst 15.4 BETA
    DX11 ST: 1,306,858
    DX11 MT: 1,322,807
    Mantle: 21,753,276
    DX12: 18,461,986

    W10 Build 10122 + AMD Catalyst 15.200.1023.3
    DX11 ST: 1,037,265
    DX11 MT: 1,121,525
    Mantle: 21,865,269
    DX12: 20,201,268

    W7 + AMD Catalyst 14.12 WHQL
    29509 points in Fire Strike

    W10 Build 10122 + AMD Catalyst 15.200.1023.3
30235 points in Fire Strike (59th overall, 2nd worldwide for AMD GPU-powered systems)

Interesting results. If AMD actually starts decreasing DirectX 11 "drawcall" on purpose and increasing Mantle and DX12 ONLY after we've ALREADY seen that DX11 has potential of increasing and as a result increasing performance too... If they actually get caught doing this on purpose, even us long term users and AMD supporters are going to flip out.

Can't wait until VBS mods them so we can do further tests on Windows 8.1 to see what they've done with Drawcalls for DX11. Thanks for posting your results, and thanks OP for putting a direct link. I hope those results and the decrease in DX11 Drawcalls is just a one off situation.

    Thanks, downloading now @ 15mb/s

That's the fastest I've downloaded a driver. Mega is awesome.

I get bad stuttering and lockups but only while streaming in data. Was driving around in GTA and it was locking up almost every second . Longest was 1 minute waiting for it to unfreeze.

Going to roll back to 15.4 and see if things improve

It's probably because of the BMW in your PC case.

Any confirmation on reduced dx11 performance?

I still can't post links or images yet, so here's the textual summary of my benchmarking efforts:

    Star Citizen v1.1.3 - Windows 10 Build 10122 - Catalyst 15.200.1023.3
    Avg: 44.179 - Min: 13 - Max: 78

    Star Citizen v1.1.3 - Windows 10 Build 10122 - Catalyst 15.5 BETA
    Avg: 54.264 - Min: 34 - Max: 100

Even though you can't see the time-domain data I plotted in Google Sheets, you can probably tell that there's a lot of stuttering/hitching happening under the 1023.3 driver. Disabling Crossfire didn't appear to help--Invisible Inc, the Witcher 3, and Mechwarrior Online were almost unplayable due to the choppiness.

A week away and I feel totally lost!

I thought the leaked 15.5 beta drivers were for Win8.1, not 10?

Guys, am I the only one still having issues with every new W10 driver from AMD for my R9 290X?

Longer boot times (with a black screen), long shutdown and restart times, problems loading CCC at startup, and with this last one, even major graphical glitches in the Start Menu.

I mean, if we're about 2 months away from RTM, AMD need to get their act together. I understand they must be pushed for time with loads of stuff: Windows 10 with the new WDDM 2.0 model and DX12, their new R9 300 series, etc., but right now the only deal breaker on Windows 10 for me is the poor AMD drivers.

    Cheers!
