Sorry to start this again but i didn't say it clearly:

VSR CROSSFIRE WORKS NOW...WITH AMD DRIVERS UP TO 4K AND CROSSFIRE ONLY IN THE AMD 285 GPU MODEL.

    So you are saying that:

290(X) is enough to handle 4K VSR (as modded drivers proved) but the lack of the "hardware scaler" they magically get with modded drivers to increase from the 3200x1800 supported in official drivers and that's the reason to don't officially add 4K support?

Is this the same reason to don't add crossfire support for 4K when 3200x1800 works perfect?

Is this the correct answer AMD have for the people who bought THEIR FLAGSHIP 295X2 and 290X crossfires?

The need to buy a ULTRAmegapowa pair of 285?

DX12 isn't a solution for DX11 overhead of course not otherwise we wouldn't need DX12 at all.
DX12 games are going to be completely different. The load is going to shift right over to the GPU entirely. It could push GPU designers to up their game and push the boundaries of performance in hardware not software.

read my later reply I explained exactly why it works on the 285 and why it only works up to 2K on other cards
the crossfire interconnect its the major limitation
and AMD haven't gotten around to fixing XDMA for the 290 and 290x

it doesn't currently work correctly at least not in the fashion that the 285 silicon has to allow crossfire VSR

onemoar is going through his posts, redacting and editing them to remove the more inflaming insults and statements.
Is that really the type of behaviour that's tolerated here?

AMD PR department must think about investing SERIOUS money in promoting BALD CHARACTERS in games to destroy Nvidia Hairworks technologies.

Tiger Team you have a mission!

Can we get back on topic before another thread is locked?

Guys, I made a mistake when I opened this thread: In fact, TW3 runs good on my pc thanks to great optimization made by CD Project, but there aren't good Crossfire profile. AFR Friendly gives me best results but too much flickering. So, my question is, is there a way to access to the file with all Crossfire profile, and maybe to create one for The Witcher 3???

You are right, back on topic "The Witcher 3 driver".

    I know you have "superpowas"...

...Can you decipher this piece of info?:

What is the ETA following the bolded text? :nerd:

We have to wait for AMD.

I disagree ,DX12 is the solution since it has been proven AMD can't really optimize dx11 .With that said dx12 should fill in the gaps and reduce overhead for AMD gpu's . This is all hypothetical off course coz we don't really know exactly how many drawcalls is W3 demanding.

We are waiting for a new AMD drivers who solves TW3 and ProjectCARS games, see last post link.

    :)

DX12 will not solve TW3 AMD problems speccially in the case of crossfire.

In DX12 the developers must to do more work to add support for multi-gpu solutions compared to DX11 and GPU makers will have even less control over it.

Well...BF4 would like to have a word with you ,in my case mantle helped tremendously in 64 MP matches ,compared to dx11 which ran like a slideshow. So saying its not going to help is rather cynical than talking facts. But like I said Im only talking from experience with BF4. And CDPR expressed they are looking into dx12 ,so only time will tell.

The CPU scaling leaves a lot to be desired (as usual). Are there any Windows 10 benchmarks around?

Maybe he doesn't want to have his pc turned into another console, with only one hardware choice. Imagine that.

Maybe CDRP will ad DX12 in a future "Enhanced version".

    Who knows?

Mantle is mantle, DX12 is DX12.

I don't want to be cynical, i want to be realist.

Mantle was nice it had 4,5 or 6 (?) supported games and that's all folks.

I read DX12 will need more work from developers to enable crossfire or SLI properly compared to DX11 and gives less control/posibilites to GPU makers to fix multi-gpu problems.

This will not solves AMD crossfire problems, it will make them worst as developers works closely with Nvidia normally not AMD.

I hope to be wrong on this but i don't think so. :(

All what's needed is engine support. Unreal Engine 4 supports DX12 multi-GPU. That's a massive thing right there :)
