Minus the tiny fact that since last 10 versions of so, i can't launch it at all.
It will keep working, shadowplay and all. But GFE itself can be opened only once i reinstall it and after a reboot it won't start anymore.

These excess CPU cycles must be where that 1-5% performance improvement came from when disabling the streamer service. I don't see any performance improvement when disabling the service and leave it running for the off chance I want to use my Shield to stream. This is good for anyone affected though.

I have the same problem, that is if your problem is:

    (a) GFE cannot be launched from the system tray icon post-install after a reboot. It only works after installing and before rebooting. As soon as I reboot it stops working.

    (b) GFE wil launch from the desktop and taskbar shortcuts only.

Not a major problem given how seldom I use GFE but an annoying one nevertheless as it did work perfectly at one time. I have tried clean reinstalls of GFE but they do not fix the issue after a reboot.

Installed this new build of GFE and now I see a splash screen in the centre of my desktop with a spinning circle for 15 seconds when using the system tray icon. That's the good news. The bad news is the splash screen disappears after that and GFE still does not open.

Oh well, at least NVIDIA have made some progress... :3eyes:
