Yes,you can use nvidia inspector, there is a option Frame Rate Limiter. If you want to limit your fps to your monitor just put 144 in Frame Rate Limiter ,press enter and thats it.

BB in my area always carried high end cards. As well as mice/keyboards, cases..etc. Now the power supplies they usually carry aren't the best but I suppose it all depends on what area actually has decent sales of such products.

Yeah, same thing by GTA4 or MP3, both had sharper filtering via driver, actually by quite a few games..

I usually test that by games if I find ingame a bit LQ, thinking of doing the same by ACU :nerd:

Anyone else who uses Afterburner, find you get screenshots of the RSSC launcher, and the loading screens saved when you launch the game (like Afterburner is automatically taking shots) ?

Heres a one from today :-

All i do is run AB, select my OC profile, then i run the game, but i get these odd shots saved every day, just randomly :p

An useful test if someone have trouble with GTA V.Some settings are much more fps consuming than others.

    [Critical] MSAA
[Severe] Post-FX Quality – The Biggest Impact on FPS
[Severe] Grass Quality – Large, Situational FPS Impact
[High] Shader Quality – Big Gain Between Normal & Very High
[High] Shadow Quality – Very High vs. High Shows Big Gain
    [Small] Tessellation Quality
    [Negligible] Texture Quality
    [Negligible] Distance Scaling at 4K

    Saw this.

Post-FX has a negligable effect for me though between settings.
Maybe the areas where im testing doesn't exhibit a great difference.

Dude you are right. Look at these shots.
Extended Shadow distance on full 100% and it looks worse !!

Does anyone know if this correlates to a slider?

    <MSAAQuality value="0" />

That does look better, i'll have to try that, as it seems to be drawing the shadows as your going along, just ahead of you :p

    yeah it does.

However it conflicts I think with this tweak
If you do the above tweak, then even with extended shadows at 0%, go back to being drawn just in front of you as you go along :bang:

I just tried the above tweak and im back to square 1. Im begining to think the shadow setting is bugged completley.

    hi guys

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Not sure what's happening to my shadows, but if you can imagine, when I move my character, this defined area moves with me. It's almost like I have a 20 foot box around me, inside that box the shadows are rendered correctly, but outside that box, they are what you can see in the pic below. It hasn't been doing this the past 4 or 5 days, its just something that has started now. I've tried reinstalling latest drivers, using default graphic settings in game but nothing sorts this issue out. Its so annoying. I'm running Very High on all settings, I've tried MSAA, FXAA and restored defaults. I verified game integrity in Steam, messed with CCC but nothing cures it. Anyone have any ideas? I cant record it because every time I try recording game footage with Afterburner, my game crashes. DXTory is a no go as well. The only thing I've not done now, is uninstall and reinstall but that's the last thing I wanna do at 60GB

^ I had that look with Shadows when set to nvidia PCSS, now they are set to "Softest", Very High and High Resolution Shadows off and Shadow Distance Scaling to max and it doesn't happen anymore.

When I disabled AF in-game and enabled in CCC and i discovered that the dodgy shadow filtering was resolved. Maybe it might work for you?

I've messed with each of the shadow types, from soft, to sharp and AMD one but it's still there. I'm currently in the process of downloading it again because everything I tried in the menu the whole day did not get rid of this horrible problem.
