To be honest, after first 15.4 driver installation, CCC was not available at all.
I had to install latest DDU version to uninstall drivers properly.
If not already done you should give it a try.

I did that with .3 and it didn't help. First AMD uninstall all and then DDU. And a couple of reboots inbetween I still got drivers not responding at times. It's not so often, but more than enough that I'm not gonna bother with these drivers.

Sure, we have to keep in mind that this is a beta driver.
The fact is that the latest WHQL driver is a 2014 one.
It is time to release a new one i guess.

WHQL is basically a meaningless money grab from Microsoft.

they were phasing it out last year, and white listed the most common plugins, but i hadnt heard it was completely gone yet.

    Do you have a source?

It's gone from Chrome 42. That's why my Gnome Shell plugins don't work anymore, even in Linux.

Good riddance if you ask me, NPAPI plugins are a nuisance.

i think you mean chrome 42 however...

you can turn NPAPI back on in settings: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi for a couple more months if you really need it.

    gotcha,

i dont use the beta or dev channel

the option is being removed in september for the stable channel

pepper (PAPI) still works fine however.

Guys, when I click on Use Predefined AMD CrossFireX profile... there is nothing for GTA V in the drop down menu, it's just not in there I looked a few times.

I thought this driver had a GTAV profile ??

Driver is working well over here. Playing Project Cars, Halo CE and newest Wolfenstein often.

I'm just starting to get ok with the go-cart thing at beginning of PC. Came in 1st once, heh.

Waiting to see how well GTA V goes on my specs.

so this driver still has "driver has stopped responding and recovered" with flash content ?
so im not gonna bother installing it if it has the same bug as 15.3 cause its really annoying bug

That's almost guaranteed to not be your cause.

Stop any unnecessary stuff from starting with Windows boot, keep your hard drive(s) defragmented (if you have that), and just generally ensure that the machine is not running stuff that need not be.

Black Viper has an excellent Services guide for all if not most versions of Windows.

Check on your browser(s) health, plug-ins, etc...just to make sure things are kosher.

If you're overclocking anything, disable until testing is complete.

If you must, uninstall (not disable) your security software to continue testing.

I recommend BetterPrivacy plug-in and/or Ghostery, both of which can be set to delete LSOs upon browser close.

In addition, you can use this to clear them now:

ok,I have tested 15.x and compare it to 14.12omega.(win8.1/full updated)

These 15.3/15.4 drivers seems have serious youtube H/W issue that will cause TDR(Timeout Detection and Recovery/amdxxx.xx driver stop responding). Especially for IE.

Well, this issue is listed on release note's Known Issues:
[417374] Youtube : Random block corruption may be experience with simultaneous 1080p video streams
[417386] Youtube : Microsoft Internet Explorer may crash if exited while Youtube sessions are ongoing

Although it just said IE crash not TDR.Also,IE(in win8.1) now using HTML5 on youtube instead of adobe flash,so it is not flash issue. When I open youtube video on IE,soon or latter it give me a TDR.

I believe you because of the release note has listed the issue there.14.12 does not have this issue.Or I will just RMA it again :(

But for so long releasing time,I have to say this is kinda sad.I believe most of users want new driver for 3D gaming also want stable 2D desktop H/W(Hardware Acceleration ) application, at least on single card configuration.

Or at least only application crash instead of whole graphic card stop responding.

Here for the one who hesitates to use 15.x or not:
1.For gamer: needed but you have to turn off H/W in IE(there is an option in advance setting),or not use IE when gaming at the same time.

2.For daily working on desktop: NO
