Can you reup textures V5?

 

Only 400mb ? I'll look at this.

EDIT : Ok, it's just vanilla ultra textures with size divided by 2, DXT1/DXT5 recompression, and removed mipmaps.

In short, a massive optimization you could have done with 4 DOS batched commandlines (5 minutes of work and 2 hours of waiting). Doesn't worth waiting and teasing for about 1 years ^^'.

If you think I am lying, you can ask to people like ThatGuyOverThere. We talked a lot when we worked on WD. I gave him my work and a part of the tools I designed.

It took me about 150 hours of work (and 50€ of money) to improve "only" 1800 textures in quality, with better performances. I published it in barely 1 month without teasing and password, with a personal Reshade preset.

For the rest (lib or xml files), I am pretty sure it's other modders's work...

WHAT IS GIVEN IS REALLY NICE FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE STUTTERING BUT I DON'T LIKE THE WAY IT'S GIVEN/ADVERTIZED.

I often talked to Ubisoft teams. They are happy that we fix/improve their games, while it's not cheating or commercial. The culprit is Mega that removes files on its own, to prevent DMCA requests. And it's done with keywords, so automatic.

I'm glad to hear Ubi supporting our endeavors!

 

It doesn't matter if a Ubisoft employee is happy about that or not, you can't talk about mods nor link them in the Ubisoft forums otherwise you get banned, because from their point of view they're dealing with illegal things since you don't have the author's authorisation to touch that software, this is far supporting the modding community and I wouldn't be surprised if they're actively taking down the mods files...
