    Last question.

Somebody told me that "If software caused a crash, then it appears in the event logs"
But i dont have any messages in event logs after that hard freeze.
There is nothing about app crash.

On windows event log i have this only:
    Log Name: System
    Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power
    Event ID: 41
    Level: Critical
    Description:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

So it can be something with hardware then? What you think?

Event log doesn't always record crashes, if it happens before the system has a chance to log it, it can't log it - then it gives the error above once it reboots

Stop fretting, all machines crash, if it's not doing it all the time, stop worrying

Listen to people with experience, we are telling you it happens, deal with it, if it was a one off, it was a glitch, END OF

Just use and enjoy your machine, if it crashes once in a while, that's just normal buggy software, Windows is one of them, drivers are another, and games are also another

If it starts crashing constantly - then take a closer look

Other than that, just accept that they are not perfect - you are a human, sometimes you trip over and hurt yourself - same as PCs

Windows8.x does not take 2.5-3.0GB ram to start. The memory usage of Windows is dependent on how much ram is available.

A 750watt power supply is plenty sufficient for a system that draws under 500watts.....

Crashes result in event logs. Hard locks do not. A hard lock is technically not a crash. During a "hard lock" the system issues a hardware level "Halt" command, which stops the system from processing any further instructions. This is not a "crash" and won't create an even log because the system has stopped functioning to protect itself from whatever caused the "halt" command to be initiated. If all instructions are immediately dumped, how can an event log be created? The CPU has to process instructions for an event log to be created and the hardware level "Halt" command orders the CPU to immediate stop processing and dump all instructions.

So that hardlock ( freeze ) what you described can be cause by game ( software ) ? Not always by a hardware?

I have had a few hard lock ups with farcry 4, for me running after burner or shadow play in background would cause lock ups with black screen and looping sound,
everything else I play no problems

Hey. I am now maybe 400 hours+ in game and without crash or freeze. So i think that single freeze was a game issue?

Unlikely, if it was a game issue, it would probably have occurred again.

Only if you can reproduce the error will you ever find out the cause.

It might have been caused by a high energy particle from outside our solar system hitting the RAM in your PC. This can happen!

You didn't read the threads from other forums that were posted under the OP then - and the fact that his question was answered multiple times yet he continued to ignore the answers given here, and do exactly what the other forums were calling him a troll for
