Could you post your DEV-ID? It helps in knowing which particular card you need to MOD.

Kinda confusing to find what you need with all those threads about legacy cards...

Anyways, I recently fixed an old pc with an ATI radeon x1200. Using FLEM to mod the omega drivers for it caused a blod.
So is there anything else I could use for it, newer than 10.2? I'm running win7 x64 on it.

EDIT: This one seems to work, http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=372799 Modified 12.11 is a bit old, but better than nothing I guess.

The omega drivers are bit buggy right now, I will have to test it once I get my hands on my old legacy card again. You can MOD anything before omega and after 10.2 basically. If you follow the proper procedure you should have your new drivers up and running in no time.

    Yes it is enough :)

Use this driver for your card https://www.dropbox.com/s/70ye3ecue...-Beta-V1.0-32bit Win7&8_Express1100.rar?dl=0

Reminder: Driver Signature must be turned off/disabled everytime you start your laptop.

    Enjoy !

Thanks for the quick reply. So let me guess, I could even go with those AMD-Catalyst-14.6-Beta-V1.0-3 drivers you've just posted?

Edit: NVM, Just read the guide on your website, a bit annoying to get there since avast keeps spamming me about a file or something being unsecure on your site.

EDIT2: Managed to install Beta 14.11.2 on top of the 12.1 legacy driver I used before. However I had to install the gpu driver manually through the device manager. So I thought I should do a clean installation with driver sig. off. Which then caused a bsod, it also did not want to install the gpu driver. Which brings me to my conclusion, is it possible that the device ID for the x1200 is wrong or something? (The gpu driver wasn't in the list of components to install, only the ccc manager and such)

No matter what I do it never wants to install the display driver when using flem to modify any driver. Forcing them manually does also cause some issues it seems, so went back to 12.11 for now...

    Hi AmiloMan,

Thanx a lot, installation was succefull and catalyst is running...but, performace is very poor (still looks like hardware acceleration is not working). I have also noticed an issue with driver during playing one HD movie, when driver stopped working and was restarted.
Also when I'm using your driver version, I always ge ta blue screen during the restart :(

Have you ever experienced this before?

    Hi,
Glad to hear it worked out for you, that driver has older files in it mixed with some new ones, on my system there are gains in performance but that is a different card from yours.(ATI mobilityHD 2300).
You should be getting better web streaming performance and browser speed since they use DX acceleration. Have you tried gaming? did you experience FPS drops in all games? As for the Blue screen I haven't experienced that......yet :)

    Hi AmilioMan,

actually there was a small performance improvement, but the stability was really terrible. I was trying it also on a fresh win installation, but always during restart/shutdown I got a blue screen :(
It's directly related to the driver, because I have experienced the same issue when only driver was installed (without catalyst etc.), but actulally only original old acer drivers (8.362-070405a-047117C-Acer) were without any problems (but slow performance without HW acceleration). It's a bit pitty that I'm able to run everything smoothly on the same hardware under win XP, but not under win 7/8 because of vga drivers...

Anyway, thank you very much for your time, at least we have tried :)

May I ask what laptop brand and model you have? I have an Asus A6000Rp laptop with Intel T7200 cpu and ATI Radeon Xpress 200M chipset. Windows 8.1 and 10 installations crash right at the start of the installations before any user input is possible (Windows 10: "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"). SHA1 values are correct.

Does anyone successfully run Windows 8.1 or 10 on "ATI Radeon Xpress 200M" chipset (1002-5A62)? Please state exact laptop brand and model if possible.

Hello, what driver I could modify the FLEM Digital program and use the graphics card ATI Radeon Xpress 1100, Windows Vista 32bit?
And is there any chance this video card supports DirectX10?
Thank you, sorry that the post is in the wrong place and sorry for my bad English.

Hey, can anyone help me with a MODed driver for a Radeon X1100 (Device ID 5974,5874) to run under Windows 10 Pro x64? It is for the same laptop, the Acer Aspire 5050-5430. I remember how much help you were to me last time Master Guru Amiloman, so I am hoping you can help me again. Thanks! :)

    HI,
You can mod a driver easily and whenever you need to in the future.
Use this tool for that http://digitalflem.mydiscussion.net/component/jdownloads/send/2-flem-modding-tool/2-flem-3-beta

By the way..here's my graphic card device ID:
    PNP Device ID PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_5975&SUBSYS_009F1025&REV_00\4&73D57EB&0&2808

Instructions on how to install old drivers on modern operating systems such as: Windows 10 and even 11 (tested on ATI Radeon Xpress 200M). 1. Download the latest Catalyst driver Software Suite 10.2 (2/24/2010) for Windows Vista 64-bit Edition from the official AMD website. 2. Open unpacker properties "10-2_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc.exe" and set the program launch compatibility mode to Windows vista. 3. Run the unpacker and follow the instructions as usual without unnecessary operations. The choice of language does not affect the installation. Profit. If you encounter errors while completing the installation or Catalyst Control Center opens with an error CLI/MOM.Implementation, download the official tool removing the AMD video driver "AMD Cleanup Utility" and follow the instructions. After - do the driver installation procedure with from the beginning of the instructions:)
