Check wikipedia it has dates. But most likely will take forever for the next one. For me the wait here in Finland is 111 years...
Was about the same here - didn't get that dark but enough for cars to use their lights - but street lamps didn't come on Lol, not too long to wait then But you can at least say that you've seen something that not even the next generation is likely to see --- Typical, skies are turning blue and clouds are breaking up
12 August 2026 An eclipse which is total across Iceland, the Atlantic Ocean and Spain results in a very large partial eclipse across Britain with western Ireland the most favoured, at around 95% falling to 83% in London 23 September 2090 Total Solar Eclipse: the next total eclipse visible in the UK follows a track similar to that of 11 August 1999, but shifted slightly further north and occurring very near sunset. Maximum duration in Cornwall will be 2 minutes and 10 seconds. Same day and month as the eclipse of 23 September 1699 And there's another 50% partial in 2021
Doubt we'll even notice a 50% partial eclipse, the weather in the UK looks like the 84% one we had today most of the time lol 2026 then, have my doubts I`ll be around for the 2090 one Bright sunshine now outside, what's the score with that then, cloudy all morning, eclipse ends, skies clear, sun comes out
Saw it, was a pretty amazing moment, I'm happy you guys saw the event too (whoever saw it) Pretty special stuff. For us the sun was covered about 75% and the bottom of the sun was shaped like a banana.
