If you cannot notice the difference then I would go with the best performance options.

Anti Aliasing is a black art, there's many different methods and yet so few work these days and/or they work inconsistently from title to title.

Easiest way to remember it is :

Post Process AA - Often known as FXAA/Morphological or some in-house AA specific to the program. This is applied after the scene is rendered therefore reducing performance cost. However most of them apply a slight blur to the overall image. One additional benefit is that these post process AA can also help with transparency coverage.

MSAA/FSAA - Classic and traditional full screen anti-aliasing. It costs more performance and only does standard shapes/objects - no transparency.

Super Sampling/Transparency AA - Comes in simple names and more complicated Nvidia/ATI designations. Gives best image quality for transparency aliasing coverage. It's also the most performance heavy.

Most people will be happy with post process AA. Particularly when you use a sharpening tool such as Sweet FX to bring detail back to areas that the AA blurred.

You forgot Adptive AA. - MSAA doesn't do transparencies, so adaptive does SSAA just on the transparencies, and MSAA on everything else.

a great majority of the jaggies are transparencies, as they are used for things like foiliage, fences, borders, etc.

Adpative gives you bets of both worlds (when it works..lol)

Ye, I use MLAA for WE9LE (late Korean PES 5 version), no other AA works there, is DX 8.1 game.

Could someone please verify that Ambient Occlusion it still currently working under the latest build of TF2 with the latest AMD drivers as of this posting please?

It's driving me crazy I can't get this to work since I play it so much.

    Thanks in advance.

Well, you can try using SMAA through ReShade + SweetFX preview.
It is way better than MLAA, imo.

Could try that, yes, I tried SMAA first but it did not work with RadeonPro.

Can Radeon Pro force which card is the first in a multi AMD GPU setup?
Or if not any one know how to do this? Maybe through registry?

I would like my second slotted GPU to be the primary display adapter that everything runs off of.

just plug the monitor cable into it instead of the first one.

If only it were that simple.

When in multi-gpu setup(SLI or Crossfire), the 'first' adapter is the host for any attached displays.

That is what I was pointing out.

Once you configure it for Crossfire/SLI you lose the control over which card is outputting the display.

I looked through RP's settings and see nothing that would alter this. The only information relevant was the Graphics Hardware Information page which says that the Main Device is : \\.\DISPLAY 1

can you reconfigure? dismantle the crossfire setup, leave bottom card with monitor cable, boot up, configure CF again? If needed, remove the top card and do all that.

Surprisingly that works though there is one drawback.

I cannot see anything during post/boot, unless I plug a second monitor into the second card (now in PCIE slot 1)

no biggie, check your bios, see if it gives you option to select primary GPU (like integrated, PCIE) maybe it sees both cards and will let you select which one to use. If not, oh well, do you need to look at the boot screen? :D

No such option on this motherboard. If there was, then I wouldn't have had to ask for help!

Yes you are right, it's a worthy compromise. So now, my computer essentially starts WITH Windows!

    Thanks for the suggestion!

its hard coded to bong when RP hooks correctly.

you cant turn it off unless you remove it from the .dll or turn off API detection.

scroll back several pages, someone figured it out.

If I'm not mistaken then you can right click the "Speaker" Icon in your taksbar and go under "Sound", scroll down and you will find "RadeonPro" sounds where you can turn it off.

What I have done, and I don't have any sound when RadeonPro activates.
