FreeSync work on hd 5000-hd 6000 ?

 

Huge mistake leaving out the 6000/7000 HD family.

 

They didn't left the 7000 series out. I don't believe that the previous cards have the hardware to run it.

 

Well there was no DP1.2a back then, I don't see why its a mistake.

 

so no new driver, after 3 months, for another 2 weeks? pathetic and disgusting.

Far Cry 4 has been out for over 105 days with no crossfire profile. If you want to support such a garbage company by continuing to buy their products with garbage support, go ahead.

You're talking about Ubisoft, right? I'm waiting FC4 go down to US$1 to buy it and show the right respect for Ubi.

What didnt they add Freesync support at omega drivers already!?

 

Do we know anything about what monitors will support it, or does it work with all games?

I'm so confused, we don't even have any good review or video showing clear comparisons. Also how it does against Gsync?

 

Now if I could get a tv to support this, that would be neat.

Although actually, I could near guarantee it wouldn't work on muxless laptops.

 

New monitors released this year with DP 1.2a capability.


It should work with any game and it should be less driver depended compared to gsync while doing the same - controlling vblank intervals.

 

I believe the recent driver lull May be related to Windows 10. Even NVIDIA have been in a lull, their recent drivers are either beta or hotfixes. Once Windows 10 is released, due to the nature of it being a free update, you will find most of the focus will be on it. They won't be supporting people too stubborn to shift, for free, from Windows 7 or 8.1.
