GTA5 for PC Gets Delayed to April 14th 2015

Oh for crying out loud...

 

Lol, the amount of hate this is going to generate for Rockstar from the PC folk waiting.

The issue though is while Rockstar are at this pre release state us folks on the consoles don't get any updates for their game either. So no new DLC I am guessing and certainly no chance of Heists.

*Quick edit, next time Ill read the article and not just the banner headline, seems at least us console owners are getting the Heists early next month, be ready for overloaded servers, poor match making and an online element that requires player to player cooperation in a game where player cooperation means being run over by two guys who just happen to be in the same car, I can't wait

 

In other news ive personally delayed my purchase of GTAV until it is 75% off.

 

LOL, I think they are doing this because they are going to have to put this game on sale after a few months out. This way they can get more pre-orders and maximize their profits by customers paying the full price.

There is no way this game can maintain it's full price after release. This game is very old.

 

This game will never get released,even if they release it on 14 april I will wait a little longer for The Witcher 3 and then get GTA 5 on summer/winter steam sales.

 

They better release an excelent port at least...

 

At first I wanted to choke some baby seals after reading this. After I had a chance to calm down I realize that this might be a blessing in disguise (for me). I sold my GTX 970 a while back and am eagerly awaiting to see what the new 300 series can do - both in terms of performance and how it could potentially drive down the cost of it's competing product(s).

Then again the push back was only by an additional 2 weeks so... perhaps the 300 line will not make it in time after all. At least it gives me more time to wait for a good deal to pop up.

 

Each delay is of a shorter time period though.

So there's that.

 

Amd cards are too hot for my liking. Even tho Nvidia is a scumbag of a company, proprietary solutions and overcharging for their stock. They still make better quality GPU's than AMD.

Recent re-release console version sales didn't slow down enough I guess to warrant allowing a PC release.

I've been waiting over a year. We've been waiting over a year. It's gonna botch on day one, whenever that may be.

I don't even want to play the game but, come on, what could they possibly need to delay it for at this point? The planets need to align first?

 

Hehe, yeah. Lets hope we'll see some new GPU's until then.

 

I don't think next gpu from AMD will be much better than 980/970....
don't expect a real boost until next year !

 

dang now you have to wait for our ports too lol thats crazy

but i will say already finishing the game several times now it was a fun game

i did like the first person mode
