windows 10 directx driver 349.65 windows update

I just added the lines in myself.

Just go to your Windows 10 settings and check for Windows updates, it should then install from there.

 

Thanks but it says windows is up to date and directx shows WDDM 1.3

 

Ok so I am now showing WDDM 2.0

 

There won't be any back porting of DX12 unless MS does the back porting themselves. DX12 requires WDDM2.0. Win8.1 is WDDM1.3. You'd have to back-port a LOT more than just DX12 to get it working.

 

Well looks like I've come across my first problem, these drivers don't seem to like three way SLI. Activating SLI will only connect two cards leaving the third out.

 

Valley benchmark is showing +87 fps faster then before the driver install

 

Did you disable driver checking?

No issues so far on 9926, although it looks like it's still stuck on feature level 11.1 for the time being. The Nvidia control panel shows the same.

DX12 isn't finalized, nor is it ready for public testing. There won't be driver support until MS is ready to officially "introduce" it to the general public. Until that time, driver development goes on like DX12 doesn't exist.

 

tried to install them on 3 different systems and lead to a Blue screen when trying to install them, and had to use system restore to get back into windows. so I say, if your on windows 8.1 give them a miss lol

 

my windows 10 install caused a bsod that my motherboard didnt like and now after trying to fix the main bios, both bios got corrupted. gigabyte wont replace because I also fried one of the fan header last month.






Now Im stuck on amd machine without sli until I get a new board.

 

I have instant crash on this driver using 3dsmax and than opening libreoffice.
Repeated the procedure 3 times and i've got 3 blue screen.

I think that are not ready for everyday use.

I find the Windows Insider program relatively 'public' and its primary purpose is a form of testing. Including DX12 in the last Windows 10 build is about as public as it gets short of final release.
