Tomb Raider (2015): Rise of the Tomb Raider

It did get a little boring at times. Sometimes the fire, wind, and rain were a little bit of a change but felt wasn't enough weather elements in the game.

But it still was a fun game.
I had a hard time not getting bored with Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 3.

 

Indeed, I gave up on both FC2 and 3, but I am now on my 4th play through of Tomb Raider, just for the hell of it.

 

Yeah, still I didn't think I'd already find listings for other platforms.

Here's hoping that means the timed exclusive is really short.

 

I stopped being interested in Tomb Raider the moment i was shown that i could press a button to reveal the clues to doing literally everything. Uninstalled and never played again.

 

literally everything? I don't think so. It gives some hints, but does not tell you everything, and its not a compulsory use button either.

 

You could have always, you know, not hit that button?

 

I was thinking that as well, that would be like uninstalling a game because it offered an easy setting instead of just Medium or Hard.

this game was no uncharted and everyone praised the game why i only see ur the only person comparing it to a console exclusive in fact it is an adventure game what do u expect?????

 

To be honest he has a point, and I don’t think he’s the only one to compare it with Uncharted. The devs took quite a few (and that’s being generous) hints from Uncharted and in the end it plays much the same. So I don’t see why you would you even disagree, let alone be angry with him.

 

Agreed. Great engine. Great gameplay. Great story.

Best game of 2013 or 2014 for me, whenever it came out.

First game I beat on my GTX 780. I loved how well it played... 100+fps always.

 

As drandiiski said, I'm not even close to the only one comparing it to Uncharted.

I'm not sure what your point is, the games were very different the past, then had a reboot and appeared more like Uncharted.

 

but that's not necessarily a bad thing either.

 

The game's a huge nod to the Uncharted series, have to either be blind or a completely new gamer not to see that, personally I had no problem with it as I like the Uncharted series and think they do some stuff not so well which Tombraider corrected which Naughty Dog may learn from.

 

if u have to compare it to uncharted i would say uncharted is the better game in its own premise one of the best console exclusives of last gen.tomb raider has its own premise thats a different story i cant judge abt uncharted 1 and 2 because i only played 3 but i liked that one

 

Uncharted 2 is the best of the series.

 

This game will release shortly on Xbox and early January for PC.
Seeing some of the new trailers I am keen to play this one. Will be quite the adventure.

Im getting really hyped.

 

Think I'll grab this for xbox one tomorrow. My PS4 and xb1 are basically dust collectors right now. This gives me a reason to fire up the x1 before Star Wars Battlefront on PC naturally

 

This game coming early january? I thought its probably after march? Who is doing the PC port?

If its SE themselves, then will probably give it a pass. Going to be **** port if anyone other than nixxes does it.

This reminds me, where is gears of war? lol
