    Can't wait for it

Throwing Oxide, the earliest Mantle supporter under the bus, before they even managed to make the game - SO WHAT

Im sure something "crazy" will be the new 3XX GPU's. The crazy thing maybe being that none of the new cards are rebranded 2XX series??? Well one can hope. I am interested to see what it is if anything. I know the Zen/Summit Ridge CPU's arent coming out till next year so I am not as interested as I could be.

what is crazy is the godvery re freaken brand.

Despite having a more efficient architecture (carrizzo), lets just bump up the keveri speeds by 100mhz.

WTF guys. is amd going full retard? And yes, i am an amd fan, but come the fook on.

    AMD - The Rebranded Choice.

    Intel - The Stagnated Choice!

Zen my ass. it was supposed to be out YEARS ago.

What would you like to see, whole FijiXT line in all 300 series?
1 main chip, then crippled more and more the lower you go.. They never did that, why would the do it now?

That's usually NV thing, which Imho makes it even bigger milking machine.
Look at what they did with GK104, same thing happened with GK110 (mostly to milk @ high-end and all that Titan bs), Fermi GF110 had few milking flavors too - 560Ti 448core, etc.. but not as bad as GK104 & GK110 money wise :D

anyway, looking forward to this "new" dx12 demo, it better not be another space sim like Starswarm :p

They've never delivered on their hype.
Also hope they don't try to cripple DX like they did with Star Swarm, looking forward to the tech demo though.

You speak about AMD or the director of Stardock, because this is not coming from AMD words.

All this is coming from this interview from Innecircle with Brad Wardell( techtalk about DX12 )
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47cnFWK0dRM&feature=youtu.be&t=44m23s

I imagine you will not listen the 51minutes of the interview. :)

Could well be linked to what was saying a developper from Occulus VR in Reddit.

-Tj- I've left you alone for a while but this post is folly.

    GK104- 660ti, 670, 680, 760, 770 (honorable mention 690)

GK110- Titan, Titan black, 780, 780ti (honorable mention Titan Z)

    Tahiti- 7870XT, 7950, 7950 boost, 7970, 7970 Ghz edition, oem 8970, R9 280, R9 280x (honorable mention 7990)

Now who "milks" a single chip?

All I say is call a spade a spade.

About the R9 300, its just speculation based on rumored specifications.. It is not because the chip look similar on number of cores and memory amount, that it is.

Anyway, they will not put HBM on low parts, it cost too much, and you still need enough computing power to feed the ROPS, memory, etc..

While I agree with the Titan being grossly over priced you included your favorite chip in your post the GK104. When has that GPU had an MSRP over $499 in single GPU form. And really don't think any Titan sold all that well TBH.

Yes GK104 a mid-range perf. chip sold as high-end, this trend started with GK104 and now continues with GM204.. Its the only reason why I mentioned that too ;p

Anyway, lets agree not to agree and keep this debate for some other thread/occasion :p :D

I will wait for real tests between old and new kaveri. I know there is a lot of space for improvement without giving it new core.
