overclocking

    Update to thread:

    Replacing nvlddmkm.sys under system32/drivers works perfectly fine with the new 347.52 drivers.

    Something tells me it's a matter of time when they disable this.

    Replacing nvlddmkm.sys is not a good idea anyway.

    It's a major part of the driver so you may as well just use v346.87 in full.

    Not to mention the swap method will fail sooner or later.

    True, but it's better than living with the thing locked, right?
    Didn't you just started a thread about nvidia locking overclock on mobile GPUs?
    Well... This may not be the solution you wanted but at least works.
    And I don't know about you, but I like to keep my drivers updated. And those who have SLI in their notebook will want even more.
    In the end, if ( or when ) nvidia decides to patch this as well, most notebooks can have their bios modified to allow overclock again.
