I've been trying off and on for years to get Afterburner's OSD to work. Just tried again with 4.1.0, no dice. I've confirmed RivaTuner Statistics Server is running, I even tried setting up a specific profile for a game I wanted to try the OSD in (Dying Light). I've tried using the Toggle OSD hotkey several times in game. I've checked all the stats I want monitored (FPS, GPU Usage, CPU Usage, etc). I've tinkered with the different display options and rendering methods. But alas, I can never get the OSD to show up.

What on earth could I be doing wrong?

I'm running with a Gigabyte GTX 770 via HDMI

anyway, it works fine here, with 32bit, 64bit games.
maybe a screenshot of my settings help..

I had the same problem. I fixed it by completely uninstalling and reinstalling, then I also changed the font type to the middle option in Rivatuner. I had it set to the Raster3D option.

Sorry not at work and don't remember what the second one is. But that fixed it for me.

edit: didn't see the other reply with the pic. I changed it to Vector3D

2nd edit: also didn't see that you say you've been trying for years (sorry long day). I fixed my problem with Dying Light but every other game always worked.

think they could make it easier

complicated interface 2 programs interrelating in an unnatural way.
add an operating system and ya gots a bonafide virtual menage'a software orgy.
i found setting up a profile on high detection was the only way to get capture operational.
as for OSD-, I cant even get it to show up globally.

Those who find it too complicated should search for an alternate tool. Leave the tool for those who can use it.

And now you're done posting here as well, sorry. I had to do it after your first troll thread with false statements claiming that we "break stuff that ain't broke with every update". You missed your chance that time, missed it today and continue trolling now. So bye, post outside AB forum please and let the jerk to continue breaking stuff with new updates.

I hope you didn't intend to come off as condescending there.
I don't find Afterburner/RivaTuner to be all that complicated, I've been around the tweaker block more than a few times. But there are a lot of options and methods of configuring it, so I figured I'd ask the community for any input they might have on an application I'm less familiar with.

Anyway, I did another idiot-check on myself, going through Afterburner's settings, and realized I didn't check the "Show in On-Screen Display" for each of the graphs I wanted to use under Monitoring. I swear I've done this on past attempts, but I guess there was a different issue back then. So everything seems to be working fine now.
