Very nice! Looks amazing. I managed to get the full screen thanks to Extraordinary's fix (-fullscreen). Hopefully the fix will include these commands A free cam would be cool too so you can fly up close to those amazing textures! Gotta love tech demos

Guys, what AA that demo is using? Picture looks somewhat blurry, but theres no aliasing at all when I played it (and besides it runs great), so that aa solution is very nice

 

Most of the lighting used in the demo isn't real time - it's prebaked. So I don't think you'd see graphics this good in an actual game. Although supposedly Epic is working on bringing realtime GI back into the engine at some point.

 

But whats the problem making new game with prebaked lighting? Not every game has to be sandbox with night/day cycle

 

Downloading and gonna test it.
Be interesting to see how my gpu handles it.
Its a 6950 fully unlocked and flashed to 6970 specs.

Not an actual game. I'm talking about some years from now.

 

Full screen I get what my system thinks is my native resolution, 1600x1200.

 

tried it on the Oculus Rift, looks amazing, its a bit buggy, some texture details are in one eye and not in the other, hopefully will be fixed soon. Nice place to chill out in VR, wish it had a tv and a released UE project so i could stick youtube and movies on while chilling in that apartment.

 

Should contact the dev and suggest that, Id happily sit there watching tv for a while

Prebaking is cheating imho.

It works in games, but for a tech demo, it's cheating.

How you get fullscreen? I've got it set to 1920x1080 but the windows taskbar is always visible. Is there a quit button? Can you get rid of the motion blur?

 

When I installed and played the 1.2 version it started up in FHD borderless mode, but when it actually loaded into the Paris scene it became Full Screen. Not sure on how to stop the Motion Blur and there is no Exit button (Use Alt-F4 or Alt-Tab then close manually)

 

Looks great and runs great (1920x1080).

 

Needs GI/dynamic shadows, liquid/cloth/leather/mattress physics.
Maybe in a couple decades this will be more than just a 3D'ed picture which is what this is. ;o
