    Dosnt have nothing to do with AMD drivers. My 280X pushes higher fps than your 290.

    Your FX chip is just to slow, single threaded performance is bad even at those clocks. Game is using barely 2 cores...

    mmm, i can run assassin's creed unity fine at ~50 fps on high (and THAT game is NOT optimized well ).. so i dont see why this game is that different.

    i set the game at 1280x720 res on all lowest setting possible and still same.. so i think there some kinda of weird issue somewhere.

    Does this game run ok on the consoles then, or is the CPU usage issue something that needs fixing on the PC versions?

    Just looks unlikely to be an engine issue as the multi-core slow clockspeed CPU's on the PS4/X1 would have no chance.

    Anyone got RadeonPro to work with this?
    Or any other way to cap fps to 30 on amd card ?

    I cant get stable 60 so just want to cap at 30 and play with a controller

    It's 1080p native and 30 fps on both PS4 and Xbox One, and from what I've seen of both they look reasonably good bar some poor AA (hardly surprising for consoles...or Techland engines for that matter that are usually average at best imo) and the framerate looks fine. There's a horrid depth of field effect though and background shimmering but it is fair to say it looks vastly better than Dead Island ever did. I am sure we will see a tech analysis from Digital Foundry later on this week.

    Found this suicide point when I explored a part of the city.

    Then I apparently discovered my destiny or so some suspicious message tells me.

    Hey guys, was fooling around in the config files and saw these lines in frame_script.scr:

    extern float f_aberration_scale;
    extern float f_aberration_speed;
    extern float f_aberration_strength;

    Set("f_pp_aberration_scale", f_aberration_scale);
    Set("f_pp_aberration_speed", f_aberration_speed);
    Set("f_pp_aberration_strength", f_aberration_strength);

    But changing them seems to have no effect on the CA and setting them to 0.0 makes the screen black. Thoughts? I really dislike the CA, because the game looks good otherwise.

    Probably stupid question, but does SweetFX have negative chromatic aberration?

    I now see why its aberration.

    I would say so, performance problems aside, it seems pretty fun from the 4 or so hours i've played.

    Only been in night once, no idea how you're meant to do it without dying, so many fast zombies around.

    Well that's great...game is out in the UK according to Steam (released 27th January 2015) but SimplyCDKeys (SimplyGames) have failed to send me my key despite me having placed the pre-order well over a week ago. Ho-hum! :(
