In their defence, I don't think that was advertised as a gameplay trailer.

It doesn't give anything to the consumer though as a video showing them showing it to journalists isn't very informative.

tis very good looking, clearly downsampled to make it ping. But wtf did they do to certain colours? oversaturated as hell. Still, it'll look good under normal conditions.

 

Still no tesselated floor or terrain :wanker:

Well Witcher2 had the same oversaturated vibe, and its this vibe that kinda kills it for me, making it meh at best.. :-\

 

Yeah I noticed the same thing. Looks a little more washed out compared to earlier footage too.

Comparison

This is another reason why PC is the way to go since the game tone and sharpness can always be tweaked with Sweetfx.

I Played The Witcher 3 And I Still Have Some Doubts

Even though I don't agree with everything this guys says, I am a little concerned. But even then. Open world games are a huge undertaking. What are your thoughts?

It's in Polish but it's from that article, the post I took it from translated it as the game running at High settings (There's a Ultra preset too.) with AA and SSAO on and getting frequent drops to 30 FPS with the above mentioned hardware.
(AA was apparently only a on/off setting so it might be some post-process solution, FXAA probably.)

Another polish site mention bad performance, 30 avg on 980GTX and 20 fps dips. They also wrote about gameplay, it's going to be superb game.. just with insane requirements

 

what a clusterf*ck. If they release this game and it drops to 15-20fps on a 980, they can go away.

 

I guess that's why the gamespot guys were playing it with SLi 980s. :/

 

Well, my 680GTX is ready.... for 720p and low details

They wrote, that game doesnt dip so low as 15-20fps, but it can dip from 40 to 20 fps range sometimes. That game use Nv hairworks, so that opion alone would exmplain fps dips, also we dont know what kind of AA solution that game was using, maybe SSAA/ubersampling like in witcher 2?
