Can't seem to get this set up for ACU.

Is it possible somebody could give me a step by step. I'm trying to use one of the presets from here, but whoever wrote the help docs apparently thinks we can all read minds...

    Thanks.

Followed the steps. Renamed ReShade64.dll to dxgi.dll. Used a preset from thelazy.net, renamed it correctly.

Game would not open. Hit Yes to the conditional by Crosire, then error message. (ACU.exe has stopped working)

Are we supposed to run ReShade Setup.exe at all?

And now, even if I remove all files, my game still doesn't work...

edit: even after verifying local files with Steam. So, yea...

Update your graphics card driver, it's a bug in the older NVIDIA driver =)

Crosire, I followed that guys Youtube steps, and after hitting Yes to your conditional agreement screen, I got the above error.

Now, even if I verify files on steam, it still won't launch with all files removed form the folder.

    W7x64 and GTX 980 here

Today I installed Windows 10 Build 9926 and found that Reshade no longer works on Insurgency. I tried the 32 and 64 bits dll, renamed each as d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll, but nothing worked.

Also tried Total War Shogun 2, in DX11 and it worked as it should.

EDIT: Never mind about insurgency. Got it working now. I forgot to place the files on the bin folder.

Whatever version the link from that Youtube had. I followed his tutorial step for step and the game wouldn't launch. ACU is a 64bit, dx11 game so I took the appropriate steps he said, and after I hit 'Yes" to the warning, uplay gave me an error stating ACU.exe has stopped working.

    My install folder is:
    C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassin's Creed Unity

    I'm running Win7 64bit

You didn't delete all the sweetfx files then. You can either delete all the sweetfx files and verify game cache within steam, or uninstall acu from steam, delete the game folder, and re-download and install the game.

I actually did delete all the files and verified local files and got the same error. Was odd.

So I did end up having to uninstall and reinstall thru steam to get it working again.

Did you try that file & method on ACU yourself? Perhaps the updated v0.13.2 will work for me?
