2014 Christmas Contest winner announcements

Anyway, congratulations to the winners and thanks to Guru3D and the sponsors for the contest (I really need a new mouse now, lol)

 

Extra site traffic was probably generated, nobody died, the world didn't end, the entrants probably enjoyed taking part and the winners will certainly enjoy the prizes, so honestly why does it matter what, if anything Hilbert gained from running the contest?

Seems like all Hilbert gets is critism every time he tries to do something for the community which is really unfair.

Congrats to all the winners and thank you Hilbert for putting together another contest and running my favourite PC review site.

Well done to all who won, some very nice stuff, and i hope Hilbert does not let a few sore losers get him down, the majority are, i am sure, very appreciated of how this site is run and the work they all do behind the scenes.

Oh and i see we have a winner from Scotland, so being from Glasgow if you want to post me the video card i will see the winner gets it, i promise.

Yesssss, sorry dude first time I've entered the contest and my god did I get lucky. I already thanked Hilbert in the actual contest post but I am more than happy to thank him here again so yeah,

Hilbert thanks a huge amount for the very shiny new GPU.

I am saddened however to see the amount of non sense going on in this thread over who did and didn't win.

As for the card, uh lol as it sits it's too big to fit in my case with the cooler that Sapphire have stuck on it, but don't worry folks it's getting a water block stuck on it and it should JUST fit inside.

 

I actually never got a comfirmation email I won despite my name being there in the article. is that bad?

Just a quick update guys, the 290x is now watercooled







but more importantly it is now small enough to JUST fit in my case.

 

Nice one, I can see some monster OC coming with that cooling!

 

Beast card and the cooling came out pretty sleek, also youve got your award very fast am still waiting tracking number for the noctua D15

 

I win random drug tests when I work at the mines...doesnt feel random
