This AMD article was published on 10 Dec! I personally can confirm this. Also, even the file name is AMD-Catalyst-HDMI-Hotfix-Win8.1-Win7-Dec10.zip. And this info was posted numerous times at least in two threads on this same forum. Why do you think it's something new? Just because you've finally noticed it? LOL.
Thanks, very annoying. In Windows it was very easy to turn off, but in some games couldn't get rid of the scaling. Didn't see it on AMD site, so thanks again. Also, it's the same driver version as 14.12, so if you don't have this issue, then there's nothing to see here.
Interesting, thanks for pointing this out, just got a new laptop that uses an AMD apu and the scaling when hooking it up to my tv via hdmi was always jacked up no matter what, lets hope this fixes it!
