Yup, so Apple is only signing 8.1.2 now....

Which is bad because 8.1.2 is for bug fixes, but it broke some of the enterprise education apps we use on our ipods, Iphones, and Ipads we use in the school district. I updated my test devices thinking I could go back to 8.1.1 but I can't.

We already had to do work arounds since you can't go back to 7.1.2 which has been their most stable device, but don't like this one bit. Didn't save the SSHS blobs either!

Can't you revert back the same way that you would if you wanted to use an ios beta without a registered UDID? I'm able to install the betas on my ipod touch and update them via ota. I just cant wipe the device otherwise i get a warning about the device not being on a registered dev account.

Only if you saved your blobs from your previous install. Beta's are signed no problem.

You can't do that with any modern devices even, blobs aren't enough anymore.
