7950/7970/280/280X are not included since they're using the old GCN-core, not GCN 1.1/Next or whatever they call it. Poor excuse though since the R9 280/280X are both in the top segment and I seriously doubt that the minor differences in GCN 1.1 has got anything to do with it.

That seems to be the case for my FX-6300, R9-270X desktop but performance went down on my A8-3500M Llano based laptop so I went back to 13.4 on that machine.

To all asus g73jh laptop users,i have used this drivers but unfortunately i am getting distortion in sound while playing games and listening music.
I switched back to legacy 14.4 drivers, things are normal now:)

I thought the idea of Virtual Super Resolution (VSR) was cool until i seen:
Available on AMD Radeon™ R9 290 series, and AMD Radeon R9 285 GPUs.
I was hoping for support for older 7900 series

Why are there so many links for one driver? Why are there 3 for Windows 7 64 bit to choose from?

Our old cards has been long forgotten by AMD. Mantle doesn't work properly on our cards yet and dx12 isn't that far away. They forcing us to buy new cards and i payed lot's of money not to long ago. Was excited for the price/performance ratio on these cards and mantle but I clearly don't know AMD. I know I'm moaning a lot but I won't Go amd again. once nvidia releases their next cards after 900 series I will go with that for sure.

You and I have the same feelings. I was happy to see them rebuild the 7900 to a 280x. I thought wow they will support us for a while. How hard can it be since they are still selling new versions of the exact same card... just one driver fix for both series.

BUT the reality is the 280x people are forgotten as well.

At least we are promised DX12. But probably with lack of features that they could bring down. Just not in the budget or decided not to do it.

I wonder what the real purpose of GCN 1.0 was since they never really did anything with it.

I think they scared people might not buy the r9 290x or r9 285.

Theres a link to pclab test. THX but im done... Never believe them ! :D

This site is on AMD black list ( didnt receive any hardware because of fraud tests...) I remember that I used to check Guru3D reviews vs pclab vs my testing... While Guru's and mine were quite equal pclab always gave Intel/nVidia +10-20% AMD -10/20% :D

The guy that post it took 1 test from purepc, the one that was the worst while the whole review is quite positive :)

Its a waste of time trust me :D
