Call of Duty Advanced Warfare

While I find this to be a dick move, Activision is well within their rights to do whatever they see fit.

 

Is everyone still getting cod service not available when first launching the game? Takes me like 5 tries to finally get in... thought this would only be an issue during launch period :/

 

Did EA do this with BF4?

Or did something change with ppl that play with a Russian activated key?

Cause i can't find any lobbies, i sometimes find 1 game, when i join i get disconnected...

But looks like the game is super cheap to get now for like 21,99 euro anyway.

 

Can't say for sure atm but I'll give it another try tonight Would be a pity though, as it's the first well-made CoD with some "really" fresh ideas in quite a while (not my setting, but fresh nevertheless).

 

I'm enjoying the MP so far but I much preferred the maps in Ghosts overall. Took me a while to get the game running smoothly and even then a couple of maps are slideshows at the start while they load (I just spectate until the slideshow ends)

I always seem to get a game no problem, but I tend to play TDM mostly at the moment.

 

With the ping set to 80 and a party of 3-4 people I only found very few matches. Some game modes wouldn't return anything, others found games rather fast.
The matches themselves worked fine and had no obvious lag problems.
Not as good as BO or WaW apparently, but no worse than any other current game.

Wow .. I'm having trouble finding TDM lobbies of all modes! The peak players is at a pitiable 10k as well. The time I did get a match was in some jungle with cabins here and there ... it was featured in the reveal trailer. God .. it was so dull.

 

That sounds like the map Instinct on the other I can usually get in a TDM but hardly ever KC and FFA is hit and miss.

 

Well, it certainly didn't make a good first impression on me unfortunately. Steam says I've spent 30 minutes with it ... just 2 matches.

 

I have about 28 hrs in but I play FFA mostly unless it comes no games found then I do TDM.I just jump in for a half hour at a time I can't game for hours at a time so I suck at it but it's a great stress reliever shooting people on the internet .

 

Anyone else having massive stuttering during campaign cutscenes?

 

Disable the caches in the settings and try again.

 

Mosh Pit (a game mode rotation) is pretty decent.

It's refreshing to play something other than TDM.

KC was my favorite until it died out a couple weeks ago.

It's pathetic how fast this game is dying. 2 weeks ago the average peak player count was 14k, now it's 10k.

Most of the time the lobbies I join aren't even full and usually just have the minimum amount of players to start a round.

 

It's dying because it's rubbish.

I've been a long time CoD fan but these last 2 games have put me off big time: Ghosts for obvious reasons and now Advanced Warfare with it's terrible gimmicky gameplay and boring maps. I also can't stand the exo stuff and can't even remap the keys to something where I can't use them. Consequently, I keep on exo sliding to the left or right at inappropriate moments as I tend to flick a lot on A/D whilst running.

and the 'synchronising' hang ups really bug me; happens 1/5 of the time it seems and I need to ctrl/alt/del and kill the process.

CoD used to be my number one game to play but the series is being ruined by these useless broken ports with no support.

Come to our rescue Treyarch!!!

 

I still like the game but it's too fast to be played as long as some of the other games (or I'm getting old, who knows).
The lobby system simply doesn't work on PC. I can't stand being forced to play modes I don't like just because I can't find a "matching" lobby.

 

Think i'll pass on this COD too, that jumping isn't for me.

And nobody is playing Classic modes...

I did found a way to bypass that region lock, so no more VPN.
