Raised it to 1625MHz, max Afterburner will let me - scored the same as @ 1500MHz but got higher min/max fps - how does that work?

I think you may of pushed the vram too high. Drop it back to stock than raise it slowly. See if that helps.

Error correction detection kicks in if vram is pushed too far. Resulting in reduced performance. If I set my speed to 7800 or higher performance tanks.

Ah ok, I was waiting for artifacts or driver crashes, I read a review saying they had managed 1700MHz on the vRAM of this card

This is at 1250 stock vRAM, not a great deal less points really

I was wondering though, do you think having 3 LCDs connected and running at once would have any negative effect on the score? It's still running @ 1080p, just 1080p on 3 screens

Should have minimal effect.. Screen shot MSI AB with gpu usage after the run

Ouch, the GPU usage should be 99% through the whole benchmark,

anyways i wouldnt pay much attention to the variable scores, at least not until you get a fast enough cpu.

Can't disable CF on this card, you can only set up profiles for individual games and disable it from there, but so far this doesn't seem to work at all, both cards are still active no matter what I choose

Yea I thought that when I saw the random up and downs - strange thing is, the CPU is not getting maxed out, not even on 1 core, which makes me think there is something else going on too

    It's a 295X2, it is a single card with dual GPUs :)

New GPU - Should probably run this again, I had a game installing in the background, was making it stutter a bit - but...

Ha my 780GTX is going strong, funny how people diss GK110 Kepler now and its basically like a slightly OC'ed 970.. Oc'ed beats stock 980GTX np by the looks of it :nerd:

    no OC (1097mhz boost)

Tnx, was kinda surprised myself :nerd:

Yes 3dmarks for sure and some cpu bound games where single threaded perf. matters the most :)

But in Heaven & Vally probably not much.. I had Q9450 3.6ghz + 580gtx and got around the same score now with 4770k 4.7ghz + 580gtx.
